I will still have to choose the ND Retro-Glam as it's the muted, softer shades that I needed for my skin-tone. I already have a bundle of more vibrant/brighter greens but it was the softer 'Aussie bush tone shades' that I was after. There are many stunning shades in the Sydney Grace Bundle but I wouldn't necessarily use them all due to how bright some are. It was a muted palette that I needed and ND fitted the bill for me. They should be getting the Theresa is Lethal Collection and the latest two palettes in soon. That Blushed single shade from Sydney Grace is my absolute favourite shadow, out of all my eyeshadows. I use it on special days when I want to look my best!
Wow! Just wow!!! Yass!!! totally an everyday wearable look for me!! 🤣 Now this is the depth ND needed in her Retro Glam! Retro Glam is gorgeous but I'm def gna pull a couple shades from my other ND palettes to add this kind of depth! And yes I agree , using Single shadows is such a great way to create your own palette and use EVERY shade!! Plus it's so much fun!
I definitely wanna own both palettes, I think both carry their uniqueness. For me what both palettes could’ve had is a duochrome shadow that goes from light pink to green, in my mind it would help tie the 2 color stories together. Mel was truly genius, I miss her too. ❤
When these were sneaked peaked I knew from the pics that the Sydney Grace bundle would be more for me and probably better quality. I appreciate you comparing both palettes for us and being honest about quality and which ones are better suited for you 😉 P.S. I have never tried Sydney Grace but they have been on my wishlist for a long time now....this confirms that I need to get on it asap!

Please make a video with whatever SG stuff you get from the Black Friday sale! I like geeking out over SG with people lol. Their Enduring Love palette is my failsafe. I just wish they’d come out with some more blushes! Their blushes are underrated. This bundle is very pretty.
I got this bundle today after watching your video. I love SG eyeshadow and Mel had such a talent for makeup and color. SG is having their Christmas in July sale so I got the new Heaven on Earth palette free. that one is gorgeous too.
I was really hoping you would do this comparison!! I was excited to watch this! I have already ordered Mel’s SG Bundle but I was on the fence about the ND palette. I will likely wait until it is on a really good sale before I pick it up. Also, now I am even more excited to get the Mel’s shadows at the first of the year!!!
Mel did a look with Blushed, Commission, & Golden Rose on the lid. I can’t remember what she did on the crease, but I think I do with a mix of Peyton’s Puppy & San Diego because I only bought a few metallics & a few lattes when they first put her bundle out & you could buy some singles for 1/2 off. I normally wouldn’t wear something like Golden Rose either, but Mel’s look is amazing, & I’m trying to figure out what makeup colors work best on me. You should absolutely try Mel’s look, especially since you have all the shades she used.

To me, Sydney Grace is far more superior in shimmer and matte quality (I never experience hardpan but I always do in ND). The only thing is that they are not as accessible since this is an indie brand (but worth it imo)
I love love love this look it is just stunning 😍 who doesn't love a bit of green. I went and looked at the ND retro palette and nope it didn't talk to me. I have the ND Zendo and it has much nicer greens in it IMHO.... Sux about your hard drive 💾 and footage loss, bet you are kicking yourself about no backup I learnt the hard way too

Such a pretty look. This bundle has the depth that Natasha’s was missing. I don’t know though…neither one really reminds me of the mini retro. The greens just have such a different vibe to me. This one is definitely closer. I’ll stick with my mini, but I would love to see more looks with this anyway. It’s always fun to watch you play with gorgeous makeup!
I love the colour story that Mel created but I don't see the reflection of the mini retro in it- the colours are much bolder and brighter (I don't have it in person so only going by how it looks on my screen).
I almost pick up this one and other singles and palettes, even if it was not on sale on Black Friday.. but the 65 usd on shipping expenses is just to much.. i wish they had free shipping over x amount spent..
Hi Martina: I am still torn on which palette/bundle to get. Trying to see all the reviews possible. I asked SG and they will have it available only this month of December. I guess ND is a permanent item. The issue is buying a separate empty magnetic palette for SG and Mel bundle. That might increase the price tag.
Oh nooo it is not permanent? That’s a shame.. I was thinking about getting this one some time, but not now. I bought enough this year😅 And indeed, with buying an empty palette it costs more than the ND retro glam. But the SG has a lot more variety and depth!
Oh I didn't know it was a limited bundle that's a shame. I guess they all the singles still but the bundle is so much easier. I guess the one with the color story that you will use the most if the best way to go 💗💗

Mel’s looks better to me, even if it’s not a color story I would wear I still find it pretty and there’s so much more depth. I honestly think Sydney Grace’s formula could hold its own against Natasha’s 👀 Also! I would love to see you build your own palettes with singles if you decide to 😬
I hated the idea of singles for years I seen people tearing apart, their palettes and I was like why!! But all of a sudden I started tearing apart my palettes so I can create my own palettes. I just want to make comparable palettes to new releases so I quit buying everything released.

❤blushed is an amazing colour. Favourite by far.perfect one and done. It reminds me of the pink in the diamond of the first water PM palette.
