I just finished this job , Thanks to your superb instructions. The job went pretty smoothly, I just cant seem to remove the electrical connections without breaking the dang on clips. I broke 3 clips but its complete and the oil pressure gauge is reading normal

Been a great time to check the value lifter oil manifold bolts tourque, and the screen hopefully helps prevent a stuck lifter , the screen will cause oil starving as it get clogged and lose bolts will cause low oil pressure at the oil towers going to the AFM/DOD lifters , should be 18 FT pounds. I've seen some that are finger tight as they are getting the lifters replaced, lol

Why did you replace the seals? Were you having issue with the vehicle not running correctly?
It’s a good idea when removing the intake manifold as the seals wear over time. I only removed the intake manifold as part of doing a large project for the lifters and cam ruclips.net/video/cWayyZGNYRI/видео.htmlsi=cVIIPEkNuebu2-LV
How do you know if you have a leak somewhere after?
It mays surge at idle or stall. You may also get a check engine light for the unmetered air
I'm getting no codes but slight tick on right side, sounds like a lifter. Also I was messing around with a code reader and when I went to cylinder deactivation disable history it said "intake manifold weak vacuum".
What year does that apply to?
2015-2020 and 2014 Silverado
