really enjoyed the contrasting commercial video with the QnA.
Awesome video! That many pomps are crazy!
Great info content video! Also a nice day for surf fishing with your friends! Glad he finally got some Pompano!
Thanks for the content and the tips.
Glad you like them!
Nice haul!
Thanks for the license explanation as you never know when I might need the ability to make money from my catch....and also
seeing the "rig" setup from "A~Z", very kool to share all that even telling us why you used stuff b/c you had extra. That's very
important & for that bottom clip I used to use aluminum pop-tops off of cans. I kid ya not & they are laying all over the place
so I pick em' up to use in my rigs b/c they work &are cheap. peace man
That's NUTS! Ive never caught more than 3 in a single trip. Deff going to take your advise and step up and start making my own rigs. thanks for the great info and video!
Store bought rigs work great too. I just have fun making my own.
Good evening, thank you for all the wonderful information. Can you tell me about this wonderful location can you send directions please for this spot thanks
Keep the surf fishing videos coming. I never get tired of them.
Joey take me fishing!!! $$
Great video good to see Abrahm aka. Tarzan , see him with Gabes son Jake in their videos good respectful young men . Good to see you learning him the gig . Bless you guys love the videos its been rough lately due to medical issues I'm born and raised in South Florida and in the Florida Keys my family has been commercial fishermen their whole lives I've done it all in short offshore freshwater brackish water everything in between I'm pushing 50 years old my time my era was a lot different we didn't have the technology and RUclips and GoPros and everything else I wish we did cuz my family always would hand line fish I seen him pull in 70 lb Bullhead dolphin 26 LB button Snapper is the best anybody in my family has ever done all on hand lines wish I had videos of that now since uncles and grandparents have passed on glad to see you guys keeping it going the way you're doing God bless and I enjoy thank you
Thanks for watching. Tarzan is a good kid and has a great family who supports his fishing obsession. He is going to do some cool things for sure. Good luck with you health issues.
Do you bleed pomps before transfering to ice?
Great video Joey! That’s some awesome haul of pompano! Great job! Lots of great information.
Thanks for sharing!!!
Thanks for watching!
I like the Pompano videos you and a couple guys are out there having fun fishing that what it is all about
I could do it every single day.... Well actually comma I have been.
@@JoeyAntonelli 😂
When you cut the dropper loop into one strand of line, it tangles like crazy. Its best to leave a regular dropper loop in my eyes.
Hey! Just catching this video but thanks for answering the license question. Very fascinating answer, I knew it had to differ from the vessel license but didn’t really know how. In addition to the bag limits, are there any differences in size? I know here in Texas for red snapper for example they can keep little juvies that us rec guys could never keep
I just keep thinking of new questions. Does this saltwater products license extend to your vessel if you are fishing on a vessel or is it a unique license?
Some fish have different sizes, but pompano are the same size but different bag limits. If I'm on my boat and there isn't a license on the boat everyone on the boat needs a license if we are keeping commercial limits.
Good content Joey. Thanks .liked the q&a . Educational for my little brain.
Great stuff. Thanks for sharing the knowledge.
I wanna come up and fish with you at the inlet don’t know anything about that inlet
115lbs...GREAT JOB YOUNG MAN!!!! Super JOB!!! Are the fleas still in the sand locally?
Thanks a bunch. Fleas have been hit or miss. Just depends on the day. I just looked around and couldn't find any.
@@JoeyAntonelli Thanks for the "up-to-the-minute" intel..planning to go on Friday, Sunday, and/or Monday...north Brevard by PSFB beaches...
How much is the license you get?
Awesome video, Joey (but all of your viedos are awesome). I'm going thru a medical issue at the moment but once that's under control I'm going after some pomps myself.
Good luck with the recovery and once you get out on the water.
Don't Stop 🛑 The pompano Video's while there still there🐟🐟🐟🐟🐟,, we don't get numbers like that till Spring,, u & Tony should get together and fish, subscribers would love for y'all to do a collab over here on panhandle, u could learn alot from the mad 😡🤔🎣🐟🐟😅 scientist,, Stay Safe God Bless,,
I'll fish with him some day. He is a cool dude.
Appreciate the videos, tips and tricks. Moved here from Hawaii year before last and just started seriously fishing for Pomps over the summer. Learn something from you every time I watch. Hope to catch you on the beach some time. I'm in Cape Canaveral so a little bit north you of you I think.
What day was this?
Great stuff. Very informative. Couple of things I would take away and use I) no float on the bottom hook, float on the one above it ii) cut the line on the dropper loop so one line from main line to hook. Fish get line shy; never saw the point of having two lines. Keep them coming , I’ll keep watching.
I like the single line, but many great Pompano fishermen use the loop.
Jupiter island?
Have any of your hooks slipped after cutting one side of the line?
Nope. Never had an issue with it.
Thanks@@JoeyAntonelli
💯💪🎣
i live in kissimmee the closest beach is cocoa & melbourne which beach you recommend for fishing pomp?
Both areas can be very good. Your best butt is to stop by one of the local tackle shops or give them a call on your way there and ask for some intel. They get people coming in going all day long giving them reports.
Dude I stg I thought I was losing my mind getting Dave and Ryan mixed up 😅 thank the lord you finally revealed they are brothers
Yo have you heard of west coast surf fisherman using fishgum
Yep. Plenty use it over there. I suggest always having it when surf fishing. I carrie fishgum and fish bites all the time. Give yourself the best chance.
Thanks Joey keep Killin it
Joe
Why don’t you ever invite Tracey to fish?
good videos but i prefer videos that have something to learn not just watch somebody catch fish. there is such limited content that focuses on the surf that would like to learn as you go... fishing rip for day? trough? water temp?
RUclips isn’t just to hold your hand and show you how to do everything. That’s the problem nowadays. People who have no clue what they are doing instead of trying stuff out for themselves and finding a bite just rely on a youtube video.
@@austinberger4252 you tube is both entertainment and learning depends what you are looking for. if i want to watch somebody just catch fish i take myself to beach and watch myself catch em. was trying to give him ideas on more content that might increase his subs and thus income. the content creators i watch most are ones that have atleast one tip or breakdown of what conditions they are fishing otherwise dont waste my time, sure i am not the only one. problem with people these days is they think helping people is a bad thing!!
My guy Joey does great videos, he usually does go more into detail of what is going on, he also said at the beginning this video that this was a commercial video and wouldn't be as detailed as most of his other videos...that is if you were paying attention. You seem like someone who can't go out and find the fish...you know like actually spend your money and do your time. You are the guy that wants to be told exactly what to do. You have this RUclips profile picture with a nice catch but let me guess you were probably on a charter where someone did everything for...told you what bait, where to go, supplied you with a rod, and all you had to do was reel. I can't stand people like you running your damn mouth about one of my locals, who you don't know period and trying to shame their channel so take your negative bs and keep it to yourself. 🤡🤡🤡🤡
He literally went over the rigs, weather, tides, water conditions
