Do you ever fly into Buchanan Field? 152s are fun. Used to fly in the Bay Area back in the 90s, so your channel brings back a lot of good memories, thanks.
Cool video! Do you still think the mini is the best fit? I am a student pilot training in a 172 and planning to use ForeFlight eventually for my electronic flight bag. Trying to figure out if the mini or the regular size ipad makes more sense? The regular size might be too big? I look forward to "feeling better" as you speak of when I get more confident and am able to "think ahead of the airplane".
Congrats till u hit 200 subs. I wish u could interrupt transmissions when it gets that busy on the radios. So that plane only has one com? & or can the approach giv u the atis info instead of u doing it @ times? #salute bro!!!!!!!
Ty bro & understood. By the time u reach more & more subs of course it'll be hard to keep up wit ur comnents. Congrats again on nw 200!!!! & nice i pad. I hav an i pad pro. Congrats on doin ur flignt trainin here & solo. It's alwayz nice to take a trip dwn memory lane to ur stompin grounds.
What's the best altitude for a dead stick, and best / longest distance? And when you're just practicing do you try to stay within a field as much as possible?
Yes I can basically just click the “+” sign on the scratch book in foreflight and I have unlimited paper. I can also save everything that I write down.
NIce video, good flight, I would suggest commenting that parts of the video were edited out for time, IE - no run up and mag check..FAA may not like that
I practice at home, as well as feeling confident when talking on the radio. One tip that helped is to not be scared to ask ATC for ANYTHING. That is what they are there for. If you need them to repeat something twice or even three times idc if they get mad. Sometimes they be talking way to fast. It’s always better to get clarification then to do something unsafe.
@@flogsbymm excellent 👍 I'm a newbie and had been practicing with a voice interaction app on my phone, but if you even pause for a hundredth of sec it fails you on that transmission
Have to admit approach's sarcasm with you not reading back the callsign a few times had me 🤣 Great vid!
What mount is this? What case to attach the apple pencil

not yet! I took a look at it though, will stop by there soon as I am close by.
Awesome work - keep the videos coming!!! Scared of heights - ouch...
Thank you Mr Flaherty, you the man

Yes! The small one is the preferred one as it’s smaller. I’m only speaking for myself though.
How do you like the pen? I've heard some still like the oldschool pen and paper.. I have the new Mini 6 as well, I wanna try out the pen!
I love it, although my ugly hand writing can use some help

Yes unfortunately this aircraft only has one com, sometimes if they aren’t buys they will give me the ATIS, #salute

What do you use for your ads b in?
in the future make sure to watcha video on how to split audio tracks when editing into dual track so we don't just hear on the left ear.
I’ve been trying to figure this out actually! Thank you
How often can you get a fresh screen on the I-pad if you run out of writing room? And can you keep those page's for debrief?
Yes I can basically just click the “+” sign on the scratch book in foreflight and I have unlimited paper. I can also save everything that I write down.

Hey guys, got my first flight tomorrow!
Hey! Starting sport pilot training soon should I get the Wi-Fi version and connect my hotspot to it or get celluer and just not start data plan?
NIce video, good flight, I would suggest commenting that parts of the video were edited out for time, IE - no run up and mag check..FAA may not like that
Is it cellular or GPS only?
Cellular, so it’s got gps on it. I have yet not activated the cellular part of the iPad though
@@flogsbymm thank you
ATC made the comment about assuming who you were because you forgot to state it at the end of your intended altitude transmission.
Im definitely gonna get an ipad to use with foreflight but idk which one yet. Ill have to check out the mini 6
Yeah try it out, It’s definitely a great investment that’s forsures, makes ifr flying much easier
Mini 6, perfect size and fast processing
I got one and love it too 😊 safe flight
Awesome!
How did you practice radio?

8 minute, he wasn't sure if you were the correct call sign responding.
What kneeboard did you use?
I don’t think I used a knee board on this flight. I primarily used the iPad as my note pad attached to a yoke mount
@@flogsbymm oh, I gotcha. Which yoke mount is it If you don’t mind me asking?
@@emersoncaicedo3146 pivot mounting by flyboys I believe
Sorry mate , couldn’t handle you talking over the radio.
That visor needs some glue….😊

I'm guessing the mention about you guy's being funny in the comments is a little something to do with the thirsty comments about Brianna 😅
