This coach is great. She has to answer questions about Clark who isn’t even on her team. Forget about her players let’s ask every question about Clark. I understand the players for getting sick of the press asking about Clark every single question. These women are professionals with egos and get sick of being asked about someone else. It’s much like when Tiger Woods came on the scene. Every question to every golfer was about Tiger.
Brondello had the great Marine Johannes last year. Marine’s style is similar to CC, perhaps a bit more developed as MJ is what 4+ years older. Sandy severely limited MJ minutes. I am not sold on Brondello as a player’s coach.
It becomes easy for a team to beat the fever, the team needs a rebounder, plus another shooter. The team definitely needs more, your ideal teams build over few years, the best there several ways to improving. Think about the future draft pick. The ideal pick would a very good forward, shooter rebounder like Larry and Kevin, both of them were coaches on the court.

You DO realize she graduated with honors with a degree in marketing from U of IA . . . . She negotiates a lot of her own deals and clearly she knows what she's doing. Having the blessing of NIH in college put her ahead of previous generations of players but she also put a lot of what she earned towards her foundation, in serving the community in Iowa City. These players SHOULD benefit from the sale of their image and name created in college. The universities make huge profits from them . . . and student athletes get to reap rewards from their hard work. In the case of WNBA, the NIH money offsets the dismal salaries that force them to European leagues in the off season. With all the new attention, hopefully they can finally get paid better and find more endorsement deals. So don't hate on CC for that. The trail blazers would have also jumped on the NIH rewards if it was available to them. Can't rewrite hx but they can reap rewards the league is starting to see.

It’s funny I started with a much different message of how this coach was giving a message on the current situation surrounding Caitlin Clark and the WNBA. And it was about her professional words, cadence yada-yada-Yada. Then I listened further and she in her own way is putting Caitlin down subliminally with the “we’ve had great ones before and names one of her previous players”, and “it’s never about one person”, fails to mention stadiums that were filled 1/4 to 1/3 until now when they know Caitlin’s coming, full capacity moving to a bigger stadium, etc. This coach is more dangerous in her speech …it’s like when you hear subliminal messages. They aren’t direct… but all of a sudden you start believing something that you never believed before. She should put stats up to back whatever she’s saying. And if she did and proved it that way… I may believe her. But nothing can refute most did not know 1 player in the WNBA before Caitlin Clark came on the scene. No player in the history of the WNBA ever filled stadiums, got 36 nationally televised games, made an impact on so many that never watched the league. So I’m calling her out and as I said subliminal messages are more dangerous than ones the jealous players in the WNBA like taurasi, or Angel Reese are spewing showing their own insecurities. . They deliver their messages more honestly when you think about it.
