This is exactly why I changed over to Ventrac. They listen to their customers and build And change existing attachments to their needs. Love the family based company aspect. They never stop improving or coming out with new attachments. I am proud to be part of the Ventrac family.
I own a ventrac power rake, loved it.ventrac always coming out with more products too make jobs easier. Ventrac 4231 over 4000 hrs still getting work done.
The power rake has been on my wish list. The “old” one looked amazing and this just changes the game. Great job to the product development team not being satisfied and wanting to do better. Love it! 😁👍🏼👊🏼
As long as you were redesigning the power rake you should have taken it up to 60" So many attachments seem. to be odd widths and dimensions. Standard 4', 5', 6', 7', 8' would be smarter. Also for this unit why didn't you add a hydraulic tilt. I think users would be more interested in being able to change the angle on the fly rather than having to stop loosen bolts, put down a block, change the angle, retighten the bolts and go and do the work then have to repeat the process to level it or reverse the angle.
Wow, I'm looking forward to see it in use on one of my favorite RUclips channels tractor time with Tim! Actually, he could have used it on one of his latest videos when he had the old power rake out on leveling ground for a backyard above ground swimming pool. I hope you get one to them sooner than later. I'm sure he can put it through its paces. Just like when you took the wide area mower out to their place a while back. You still need to make a smaller brush cutting mower. Many of us don't want to take out extra trees in order to get that large one through some of the brush.
Great job Aaron. Downfall is I just bought the old one and I do a lot of driveways and am wishing my Salesman would of told me of the possibility of an upgraded version coming out. Not too happy. Would have rather waited for this new one.
I too just took delivery of an "old" power rake that's main job is to maintain our road/driveway. Being able to maintain the crown or build up the crown of the road is a feature I would have waited for and would have paid for. Almost makes me regret my Power Rake purchase. Bummer
Thanks, Jason - and thanks for your support as a customer. It's not your salesperson's fault for not letting you know a new rake was coming... we only launch new product to dealers ever so slightly before the public sees it. Unfortunately, it's the nature of the beast with product revisions - they have to come sometime, but we can't say much until they're ready because as soon as we mention it - people want the new features.... so they have to be at least nearing production. I wish we had an easy way to alleviate these timing issues, but we don't. My recommendation would be to reach out to your dealer and ask if they would take yours as a trade-in on the new one. Since it's so new, you might not face much of a hit on it and power rakes are in high demand so they won't have a hard time getting rid of a used one. A fair warning though - this new version won't be shipping for a couple weeks yet and production is still touch and go on everything right now due to supply chain constraints on various components - so it definitely won't be an instant delivery. Typically our dealers do a good job of helping customers out who are caught in this very same timing situation. -Aaron

Need to get Toro to let you develop a vibratory plow for pulling in irrigation pipe and wire. Or maybe a lawn dethatching drum to go on you flail mower attachment.
I used a set of blank arms and made a dethatcher attachment using a 60" dethatcher rake for the front of a zero turn mower. It came with large front casters and works well plus you can lift it with the travel lever. Has 3 rows of spring tines so it gives you a good raking. I think the whole set up was less than 500. Warning....you should have a vacuum system and a way to get rid of the thatch because it adds up fast.
Ventrac has the best control system with their articulating design. Mid-mount zero turns have rear tire creep to the inside. Front- mount zero turns have deck twist. I wish Ventrac made just a simple small residential mower with their steering design for the 1 to 2 acre home owner who just wishes to mow grass.

Ok so you guys tricked me waiting 18 minutes to come out and speak lol. I thought it was a still picture this whole time. I was thinking a new food plot seeder or a seeder of some sort. Placing the cardboard under the cloth really played some tricks on us. However after going back and fast forwarding the video and watching the new power rake omg it looks wonderful I can’t wait to see videos of it being used. I want a Ventrac even more now. Only thing about the Ventrac is there are so many engine choices to choose from and so many attachments I just can’t decide what I need. Which is a good thing. After saying that I wonder if there will another engine option coming in the future. Or even possibly a larger tractor that may come one day with same attachments but larger in size.
I have a older 4231 TD. Nice motor @ 31 hp, going forward I would never consider anything less that the Kubota gas engine or the kawasaki v twin. Personally I like the sound of the 4 cylinder over the v twin so that would be my choice. I can hear all 31 hp working when cutting tall grass with my 6' finish mower on a hill. That's why I would never consider the 25 hp diesel option.
The ability to tilt the drum to crown driveways is just the feature I was hoping for. I wish it was adjustable from the driver's seat but better by wrench than not at all. Does the tilt need to be taken back to level before you detach?
It doesn't need to be taken back to level but you will have to fix the front axle solid before detaching. We wouldn't recommend to trailer the attachment that way, but it will be stable enough for hookup/unhook.
Guys you need to get a better camera. I'm not trying to crap on you, but seriously you have one of the most versatile tractors out there and you're in 480p looking like it's 2006.
I hear that the gas engine has more power and is better than the diesel. Is true, if so are there going to be any upgrades to the diesel for performance and power, and economically.
Unfortunately no, because you'll need a dual front hydraulic and 12v to run the full capability of the rake. Technically you could run it, but you'd have to set the desired drum depth first, then switch hydraulic hoses to the angle function and run with a set depth.
@@georgecass8529 your not poisoning the ground water or soil by spraying your spray the leaves so the plant takes it in and it then kills the plant however if you have pets that go out side you don't want to spray because sometimes they will eat the grass and that is not good.
