These guys are so awesome live. My friend and I were at Louder than Life 2023 and we were passing through between stages and they were playing. We stopped immediately and watched them. Highly recommend

You need to Listen to their collaboration with LP called Mother Nature. I love Th Hu seen them at Download and they blew me away, LP is phenomenal on her own so put them together was magical. Sugaan essena is a masterpiece. Which they did for Star Wars game you can visualise them lining up for battle and then all hell brakes through

It’s a great song. Love the last minute when it gets fast
well, I seem to be missing a few things here. People are saying something about parts 1,2, and 3 of this song, i'm missing that memo. What I DO know though is that this song seems to be inspired from work they did on a Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order game that came out a while back. You can hear the same instrumental melodies in this abridged version of that song (the original version is almost 7 minutes long). What I find interesting to note in this is that they were approached to do a song for this game because the producers thought "what would sound more alien to the american people than mongolian throat singing". So they were asked to compose a song, which they did, called Black Thunder (in mongolian, not sure how it's pronounced in mongolian but yeah). While watching an interview the band did on that song, I learned that their song approach was met with... shall we say an offer. "The song sounds GREAT, but what would you think about singing it in a made up star wars language rather than mongolian." (Side note, in the interview I seen the entire band seems to be star wars fans) To which the band members responded "Send us the lyrics!". Thus I am confused as to if the title to their song "Sugaan Essena" (Black Thunder) is in mongolian or a made up language. Either way, I invite you to check that song out, as it is the one that is featured in the game Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, and seems to me to be the beginning of this version of the song.

@@thisizmonster It was phenomenal!! The videos were so well done and cinematic and then the music was so beautiful! I found myself not even paying attention to the captions with the translation half the time because you could feel what they were singing about without them.

For Black Thunder specifically I also much prefer them as is, there's a few collabs that I enjoy (like with Lzzy Hale and LP, those are so good!) but not this one.

You guys should react to Icon for Hire!! I was listening to them yesterday and I realized that they are similar to NF with how their songs are…except pop metal lol and I’ve loved them since 2013. You guys should branch out a bit into more rock/ hard rock stuff. The Warning and The Pretty Reckless might be right up your alley, especially since Eric said in one of In This Moment's videos that he doesn't listen to many female vocalists.
The problem with this one is the original is SO much more epic. This colab doesn't add anything for me. The upside is it brings listeners who might not notice them otherwise.
