The Hu is a Mongolian folk metal band. Incorporating traditional Mongolian instrumentation, including the morin khuur, the tovshuur, and throat singing, the band calls their style of music "hunnu rock", a term inspired by the Xiongnu, an ancient tribal confederation of uncertain origins, known as Hünnü in Mongolia.

@@Loop2React BTW one of their other songs is indeed in a game; Jedi Fallen order. It is in the very first scene of the game. The instrument is, i believe a Morin Khuur(Horse-headed Fiddle).
The 2 stringed instruments are called morin khuurs or horse head fiddles the guitar is called a tovshur or Mongolian lute.

My first contact with 'The Hu' was their song
'Yuve Yuve Yu'. Then there was
'Wolf Totem' or
'This Is Mongol (Warrior Souls)'.
Black Thunder Part 1' is my favourite.
Not really heavy but it made me feel good.
yeah man traditional instruments for real, its called “Morin khuur” dopest one ever.
This collaboration version is wayyyy too overwhelmed by the guest artist. I strongly recommend to check out the original pieces it just sounds so much better
just try their original music not featured music like this
I think this collab was a misfire. The original song is SOOOOOOO much better. This guy's voice ruins it for me...don't know why. I love the new video clips though.
However, I know it is subjective and plenty of people enjoy this version as well. All good!
