She was adorable! I'm glad she won!
At the start of the January 24, 1985, episode of THE PRICE IS RIGHT 👉🏻, of course.
She's adorable and I bet Bob got a big kick having her onstage.
Nothing like the Bob Barker era of The Price Is Right.he had that persona and presence that made him the greatest babysitter of all time.
To be fair, most 80's cars were ugly.
She certainly understood the game very well.
She Played ▶️ very well !
What a great contestant and the perfect way to open the show.
At the start of the January 24, 1985, episode of THE PRICE IS RIGHT 👉🏻, of course.
@@jamesmcclelland1414 Right? It ruins my whole day when they don't get the exact dates correct.
@@arizonashane Why thank you 🙇🏻 very much.
She was awesome!!!
@@jeffc8242 Who? PRICE IS RIGHT 👉🏻 contestant Judith Kaminski or two ✌️🏻 of three Barker's Beauties 💅🏼💅🏼💅🏼---Janice Pennington or Holly Hallstrom?
I love watching these old Price is Right videos because it reminds me of my childhood and I love to try and guess what things costed back in the day. Also, I love Bob Barker.
I remember the days when I was in elementary school back in the 70’s , if I was home sick, it was always a must see, at 10am to 11, I remember the cars in early to mid 70’s , cars were $4 to 5k.
This contestant is awesome and Bob made this EXCITING
Love, Holly in that maid's uniform!
😍
Ohh, la la!
Gotta wonder what was going through Bob’s mind at that moment…!
The way Judith described this game, takes me back to when another superfan not only described how to play the Showcase Showdown, but described their ticket plug, and the showcase rules. He sure gave Bob and Rod (since it was the early 90s) a good rest for their voices, then.
My guess for each of those 4 Numbers in this one would have been the following.
1st Number: 8
2nd Number: 6
3rd Number: 4
4th Number: 5
Chris woke up today with that .. not so fresh feeling 😕 ! 😏
@@markheying2830 will you stop?
@@davidellis5141 Please don’t.
Chris,
That was Brian from the March 13, 1992 episode. I remember seeing that and it amazed me so much I wondered “How come he didn’t audition to be the next host of TPIR after Bob retired?” 😅 Possibly he might’ve had other interests by then…
When The Price is Right was actually good!
She won one of the safest cars on the roads back then! They can't create any road hazards or accidents when they're hooked up to the back of a tow truck!! Only surpassed by the Yugo!!
Not to mention rust and overheating issues. Its 1.4-liter engine couldn't climb the streets of San Francisco uphill, and its transaxle and CV boots couldn't survive a New York minute over potholes, heavy traffic, and long highway runs.
2:31 Holly in a french maid outfit!!!!!! Best part of the video
Awesome contestant! Bob & Janice liked her, too! So happy she won...
New Yorkers know how to play and win big - whether it's game shows, the big time awards (Tonys/Grammys/Oscars) or any major pro sports. This nurse from New York City did so from TRIP Season 13 (1984-85)
Judith must've watched TPIR each morning at 11:00am on the network's flagship station, WCBS-TV Channel 2 New York.
Excited Judith WINS by a dollar 💵
At the start of the January 24, 1985, episode of THE PRICE IS RIGHT 👉🏻, of course.
At home as a kid, I would also boo those who didn't get the Big Wheel all the way around. 🤣
@3:45 William is a little cutie...
Well that made my smile. Thanks 😁
Ahhhh, back when cars' prices were only four digits long.
Yep 👍🏻!
What’s wrong with 5?
@@MorganNye Because THE PRICE IS RIGHT 👉🏻 didn't have five digits in the Lucky 🍀 Seven game 🎯 until probably the early 🕒 1990s.
That car was ugly as sin. They couldn’t give it away on the lot so they probably donated it as a tax right off. Lol
@Christopher Hagee Yep 👍🏻!
She almost ran away without paying ($1.00) for it. What a fun guest.
From the start of the January 24, 1985, episode of _The Price Is Right 👉🏻._
The delightful Judith had the best 👌 bid at $681 💵 !!
@@davidellis5141With a difference of $1,135 because the actual price of that Merillat Industries 🏭🏭 oak wall unit as the first IUFB was $1,816.
@@jamesmcclelland1414 That's a big difference 😳 !
@@davidellis5141 I know.
@@jamesmcclelland1414 "Sixteen" - actually $1,816.
This was magnificent!
I’m pretty surprised that despite they’ve shown a handful of 1985 clips, they haven’t even put the correct year on these clips yet. This aired January 24, 1985.
Jeffery showed up again, tell him to go away
They might be going by tape date, this episode would have been taped in December 1984.
@@heidimountain606 It's not uncommon for Goodson-Todman game shows aired in January-February to have the copyright year be the previous year back in the day. Given the new Giant Price Tag debuted on January 18, 1985, this episode here would have been taped on Wednesday that week (albeit the early taping).
Dude seems to put 1984 as the year for every vid regardless of actual air date.
@@graigmellon7874 sad to think that we would lose Johnny Olsen a mere 8 months and two weeks from this airing if debuted in Jan 1985.
New Yorkers get it done!!
Holly !
Judith won !! A new Car 🚗 !!
Congratulations Judith !! 😃
@@davidellis5141 At the start of the January 24, 1985, episode of THE PRICE IS RIGHT 👉🏻, of course.
You know the mini game is lucky 7 when a car 🚗 drives up on stage;)
3:35 Always wondered if the audience could already _hear_ the car engine just before they did a drive-out style new car reveal 🤔
Superfan Judith! This was awesome.
Good Job
Thank You Very Much !!
Congratulations
AnY true TPIR fan LOVES the historical trivia! I love when people who genuinely know how to play, win! AnD I hate when people that play it safe, "5 Bob...5 Bob...🤔...5 Bob," win!🔆💲
Bob wanted that dollar back.
That was Awesome!🤓
What a cute contestant.
6:30
she's pretty cute for a 65 year old.
I think that color in the brochure was called hearing aid metallic. Man what a crap prize, I'm wondering if the car made it thru the warranty period before Renault pulled out of the US market and left their owners high and dry.
It didn't. Many of them went straight to the junkyards across America by the time Chrysler took over AMC.
Keep the dollar.
She has to "buy the car" with it.
This was before they had QUANTEL flip graphics for the “MOST FUN!” Explanations
Were those mormon missionaries in the open?
A Renault? They were trying to give away those babies on mid 1980s game shows, but they didn't quite work out.
Would have been lucky to get it out of the parking lot :)
This is an example of how the distinct NYC accent was stronger back then. I don't hear this accent as much these days.
I have 3 observations:
(1) Does the oak wall unit come with a free night with Holly? I don't remember the items up for bid being that expensive in 1984.
(2) I couldn't get that excited about a Renault.
(3) Holly can dust my "wood" furniture anytime.
She was cute, from New York and all.
God we had some ugly cars back then.
Right that Renault thing is hideous I'd have handed Bob all the money back.
Malaise era
$1 could probably buy that Renault today
she explained the object of lucky seven like a true professional.
Could tell she was from New York just from the accent.
It's an oak wall 🧱 unit !!
Is that a normal color for a 1980s car?
Dian Parkinson She Was Beautiful Dress By The Way Janice Pennington And Kathleen Bradley Also Beautiful Dress
SHUT UP!!!
Rachel Reynolds she was day off 🚶♀️the 🐕
Here he goes again. Why??
@@optrix7245 you mean me?
@@MorganNye no. The gent that always always always makes comments about the models.
Again, you tell us what is going to HAPPEN, WHY BOTHER TO WATCHING THE VIDEO?
I think they do so to avoid us reading comments made by these disgruntled trolls...
There is no such word as disgruntling Mark ! 😕
@@davidellis5141 I don't see why it wouldn't be, from the verb "to disgruntle"
@@markyyy94 Those trolls never want to stop doing what they do. They act like they want to hog the entire comment section and spoil it all for us. I would really hope that this account takes fair action, on these spammers, because it's like we can't watch a decent video, without these trolls saying the same stuff about exact dates, Barker's Beauties, or what contestants won or lost. I really hope this account hears our calls for help.
Chris - As Mark pirates episodes of The Price Is Right .. he can't really bring attention to himself & as for you .. G E T A L I F E .. 😕
Hardest game on the show, imo.
that Renault is an interesting shade of brown
Shame it’s a Renault!!!😢

Bob could be kind of a jerk sometimes.
Which made him even more lovable. He was a funny guy. I loved it when he had fun with the contestants and the audience.
Well I don’t need to watch since you’ve given it away in the title. Boo
The car was a POS.
Do you guys hear me or not?
