Hi , I hope that you are fine.
Thanks for your comment! If the boot settings are locked and you can't change them, you might need to access the BIOS/UEFI settings. Here are a few steps you can try:
Enter BIOS/UEFI: Restart your laptop and press the key that opens the BIOS/UEFI menu (usually F2, F10, Del, or Esc). This key can vary depending on the model of your Acer laptop.
Reset BIOS to Default Settings: Once you're in the BIOS/UEFI menu, look for an option to reset to default settings. This is often under the "Exit" or "Save & Exit" menu. Resetting to default settings can sometimes unlock the boot options.
Check for a Supervisor Password: Some laptops have a supervisor password that restricts changes to certain BIOS settings. If you're prompted for a password, you might need to enter it or ask someone who set it up for help.
Update BIOS: If the above steps don't work, you might need to update your BIOS. Check Acer's official website for the latest BIOS update for your model and follow their instructions for updating it.
I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions or need further assistance.
