I hate we got rid of the house in DC, but thankful my grandparents and mom shared the concept of generational wealth and finance literacy. But how do you stay in that program when they won’t allow you to have more than one mortgage . You can only have a mortgage with them , so if you want to invest you can’t have other mortgage

Maaaannnn so good! I’ve realized that I’m in a place where I need to increase my income to make these money dreams come true! I’m 2years into an LLC and I’m an actor. I’m doing ok, but I’m in such volatile industries bc income isn’t guaranteed as with a 9-5 & sweating at the fact that it’s harder to buy a home with a new llc. Also this was really easy to understand for some reason and real estate usually makes my head hurt. Wish they were in Chicago so I could make an in person meeting to have the talk about my steps as they said.

Paying off debt sooner is always a win. Go for it! Use an amortization calculator to find out exactly how much sooner those extra payments will help pay-off your mortgage. Congrats and good luck!

Yea that why alot of people do the opposite of what Dave says when it comes to that cause 99% of people can't buy a extra property cash. So to get in the door of being a real estate investor you have to put down something. Rather a little or a lot, you have to put down what you can. Even if the property cost 60k, how many average people thats not even top 5% can do that in cash, and have money to the side for repairs and maintain their owm home. Not many. Sometimes these gurus get lost in their world which is not the normal persons reality.

You can only have one mortgage, you can’t be investing in many homes

Yea that why alot of people do the opposite of what Dave says when it comes to that cause 99% of people can't buy a extra property cash. So to get in the door of being a real estate investor you have to put down something. Rather a little or a lot, you have to put down what you can. Even if the property cost 60k, how many average people thats not even top 5% can do that in cash, and have money to the side for repairs and maintain their owm home. Not many. Sometimes these gurus get lost in their world which is not the normal persons reality.
