I paid of my student loan debt last July (kept making payments during the pandemic and made one giant sum from my savings to eradicate the rest). Currently have a 403b which I've been investing since I started working (recently increased 15%); transferred my savings this year to a HYS account (don't know why I didn't do this earlier); putting aside into a separate brokerage account and have my next meeting with my financial advisor to see where we are to retire early. Keep sharing the knowledge and financial education brother

Ive been struggle with medical debt. I have finally paid it off, I know im behind on savings. Ive managed to 2x my income in 8 years. I was dumb and let life style creep get me. Since october '23 I've paid off 17k of cc debt and still trucking. I see and hear that I should not be saving anything until it all paid off. What is the census here? Continue paying debt and save or through all to debt?

You could just learn on your own by reading different books by financial advisors. You could also check with your local social service agencies to see if they offer free financial counseling or housing counseling.
Good information but from my perspective I work as a GS (government ) employee you can't just go and request a pay raise they are given based on TIG and performance reports. And getting a side hustle is not an option as you restricted as to what / how you can work outside your government position.
In 2024,don't set new year financial goals without consulting a financial adviser.there expertise ensure a solid plan for success.Building wealth involves developing good habits like regular putting money away in intervals for solid investments.
