You’re so right! I think most people probably hear the word “Probation” and think “Woo Hoo!!! No jail time!!!But they don’t think about what all Probation entails.
Exactly! A lot of people go into it blindly, and when they come for the first office visit they say "wow, my lawyer didn't tell me all this!" 😩 I just want to share the good and bad side to being on probation. 💛
This is the very reason why I create this kind of content, and consult with people full-time. To help them possibly avoid doing more time than necessary. 💯

@Hartleyb83 exactly if I would've known or seen what was ahead of my journey I would've took the jail time... from experience people don't just accept what they want to throw you reevaluate your options it's a shitty responsibility and if you don't like being told what to do or being degraded( I.e being forced to pull your pants and boxers down for a drug test) probations not for you.

Looking beautiful as always. Tbh I think probation is a set up. Here in Mass if you can't pay you can do community service. I believe it's like 20 hours a month. I learned at a young age to just take the time cuz I was gonna do it anyways cuz I always violated. I don't take parole either cuz when I get out I don't wanna be on paper anymore. Keep shining miss p.o.

I'm glad you feel me Victor 💯 Probation isn't for everyone... Just like anything else in life. I just wanted to share what some of my clients told me over the years❤️
I caught a split sentence in a trial. 25 do 13 so probation was out of my control. I've done 8 so far. I paid for a lawyer to get the rest dropped but the DA & Lawyer told me on a video hearing that regardless of my hood conduct in society it didn't matter.. They chose to uphold my sentence. However due to a most recent SB105 I still have a chance. Fortunately I have been on non report/unsupervised for 5 years... Stay off probation if you have a choice.
Very good reasons I’ve been struggling with payments and transportation.very stressful I wish I seen this video before I got on probation.I have 2 years probation right now I believe my attorney told me that or either 12 months in county.I’m only 19 and I was scared I didn’t know what to do so I just took the deal..which not only ruined my record but my relationship with my family.I wish this whole nightmare didn’t even happen.over some false accusations now I’m paying the price for it..no one believed me but it is what it is I guess now.
So basically fight your case no matter what.. Im set to have my 2 year probation expire this summer.. Suuuch a pain in the butt. Too much money and time given that im not getting back.
Right, it takes a lot to successfully complete, but you'll feel so accomplished once you are done. 🙌🏾

Ive tripped myself up with some bad drug tests but ive been blessed with a great p.o. whom actually listened to why i had my slip up with marijuana, was going through some losses and greif but have since learned much better coping mechanisms. Looking forward to putting it all behind me
So I’m wondering what is the quickest way to get rid of a parol officer if it’s my first time as a class c fellon? Like you said in this video I can’t handle being baby sat by some person that for all I know they could a fellon them selves,I don’t want to pay her any of her services I need none of them ???? Plus I do enjoy my drink at times but I really enjoy my Mary Jane medication and further more I don’t know this officer nor do I want to know her plus she doesn’t know me nor will she ever in that s lifetime. Right you have to report every month which is annoying. It’s best that ppl don’t put their self in that predicament. It’s like your life is control again but to a certain extinct.

Just got off of Probation after 4 years and multiple county jail trips on violations paid all my probation fees paid all my court fines it's been a looooooonnng journey. I started off on ISP.

@Dreamboy First time I was in CBCF which is a step up from the halfway house more like extended jail with work privileges after 4 months I was in there for 4 months got cuffed out and sent back to the county. I got sanctioned to the halfway house 5 times. Each time I would go I would leave or get a medical discharge.
Splinter sent me here and you could of made me a better probate, but that was over 36 years ago, your beautiful.

Random question, there is a good chance I could go on probation. So, would I be able to travel outside the country if it was for education?? This trip was paid for over a year ago but was delayed do to Covid. I will probably be on probation by then though I’m not sure.

Yes, you can go but would need approval from your PO.

Kill your time unless your ready to walk a straight line.ive been off now for about 8 years.state wasn't to bad but federal they pop up at your house and go thru your fridge its crazy here in wv

What about a felony dui?..im facing 30 days to 2 years(highly doubt the 2 years or even 90 days)..but lawyer said i may have to do dui court probation that makes u pee test 2 times a week for a year to keep my license and 440hours of community service trade for jail time...or loose license for 5 to 10 years and ir have interlock on car for 10 years....what should i do...cop lied his ass off and no video (which is a giant lie)...or i could goto trial and fight it..

They could possibly speak with the court about it, because that decision is up to the judge

Idk how people can’t pay 60 a month I make 390 a day doing Lyft and you can work as a felon 12 hrs a day can’t match to 24 hrs in a jail cell
So when a person is on probation, that person can not have a drink even if the judge did not order to stay away from alcohol?
If it's not on their court order to abstain, then yes they can drink. Here in my area, abstaining is a standard condition for everyone tho

What are something that person should know if they r going to date someone on probation ?
That person on probation can't be around or use drugs and alcohol. Depending on the type of crime, they may have a curfew so no dates late at night.

Just communicate like you would do with any other person. You don't have to do anything differently for safety. Unless this person has a history of violence 👀👀... Then you might want to date someone else😂

A job is a typical stipulation. However if you are searching for employment, or someone is helping you pay fees, it's usually fine.

@@YourFavoritePO okay ❤❤ the job thing is a big stresser i cant get into detail im a very hard worker but from my experience with working the people have a short temper and don't even understand the concept of the job they threat work like a social gathering and I cant do it maybe I'll look into working from home but in the meantime the fees aren't gonna be a problem im knew to probation

@@YourFavoritePO It's for low levels offender. My brother was on it, and he practicality never saw a probation officer. Also he was never drug tested.The state of Virginia has that program. I was just curious if your state had that program. Seem like every state is different..
@@Gade804 yes every department has their own practices and policies. We do have online reporting for compliant offenders. They have a face to face every 90 days.

My probation officer is telling me i cannot use social media for 5 years and have to delete it.. my phone and social media has nothing to do with my case which is kinda serious but i was a fall guy ans never actually did anything. They had minimal proof which if i had more $ i would have gone to trial and there my proof etc would have been accepted but it was denied due to non trial. Please help...

@@YourFavoritePO thank you i feel like probation gave me a third chance, since this was my second dwi. So i dont want to blow it. The punishment was i think excessive, since no one got hurt. bul thats the law and you have to pay the cost, if you violate.
Luckily my lawyer got all my fines and fees waived at trial

I would say probation is definitely better than going to jail or prison. However, I feel there are SOME instances where it may not be better for some people. This is what clients have told me over the years🤗. I just wanted to give different perspectives. There's always multiple ways to look at things. ❤️
