Great review! Thanks for sharing. I'm not really a drone player, but I've been on the lookout for a reliable power station for camping and working outdoors. This one has got me pretty excited with its super quiet feature and the 140W USB-C port. will consider buying the DJI 1000.

Absolute integrity and no bull quack. Yeah, power stations aren't sexy and exciting but you couldn't have done a better review. It's so refreshing to see someone just be themselves and not try to figure out youtube or appease some algorithm or tread lightly to keep getting endorsements. Your approach is giving me direction for my pool channel, don't overthink things and keep it real, don't try to hard to be successful, if it comes it does if not you didn't quacking sell out like so many. On another note, looks like a pretty quacking cool product, DJI I'm sure knows a thing or two about batteries and my drone cells are one of the few lithium batteries I trust enough to charge inside my home.
The 500 is right up my alley. It’ll come in handy vacation time

If you live in the Gulf of Mexico area where hurricanes are these are good to have. They won't run a window air conditioner but they could run a small refrigerator. If you live in an apartment or condo and can't run a generator this is the best way to keep things charged up.

Depends on the drone I use this more to keep my gimbals and cameras charged. On average 9-10 mavic 3 batts plus still having energy left

I want both lol. Will prob get the 1000 because I need to justify buying a big charger to my wife by being able to charge a refrigerator lol.
I already have the Anker 757 which as been awesome for the home on a blackout and in the field when I need to run some lights for production. I was on the fence of buying the 500 due to duplicity, but when it comes to flying drones, I think it's a good deal with the $120 discount ($380 which is about the cost of two Mavic 3 batts AND fast charging). Now I don't have to buy extra batteries for the drone or lug around the heavy Anker Batt. Also, my truck's powerpoint doesn't stay on long or turns off when I open the door, so now I don't have to put idle miles on the truck.
The added bonus of the 500 is how much it weighs! Bought one and love it.
The 1000 looks way too heavy (yes I’m a female) bahahaha

Can see how handy that would be for someone like you ken who is out on the road with all your gear or someone going on a holiday with no power source at the location. I do have one, just not dji got a bluettii and happy with it good review of a pretty boring subject just need it to what its built to do 👍
birds stay away from red reflective tape. i dont know what about that tape makes them think the drone is nope but it has come extremely useful to have the tape stop birds from even coming close to the drone. i love it

Thanks. First EcoFlow called them solar generators, then others caught on and made them cheaper my leaving off the solar and called them power stations. Of the "hundred" brands now, most quite good, I would bet that most are made by the same company in China, maybe even more recent DJI. I have 3 different sizes, all good and all different brand special offers. I would love to be able to afford a stacked unit that would run my camper AC for a couple days, but that and adding the solar is totally out of my price range, and very heavy, so would have to be put in my Ram.
First and foremost I love my battery back ups. Except I use Anker batteries.
