Hi Noi - I found your channel just 2 weeks ago searching for cameras like fx30 etc. I love your channel and content. Awesome colors and fonts- fun personality and modest. You are a Rockstar! Undiscovered! look forward to all your coming vids. Super well made and inspiring- everything I like and aspire for, you have. Perfect framing. All the best. Jesper
Hey Jesper, I just checked out your channel and wow! I'm truly flattered hearing this coming from you. Phenomenal work you've done. I'm just a simple vlogger haha. I appreciate you so much. 🙏
These daily videos are such a welcomed break for me right now. Been working on a video for nearly 2 weeks now and these vlogs are nicely breaking up my day. Look forward to seeing that bruise tomorrow, its going to be a nice one
Awww man, I would have loved to scale the mountain with you all! Yeah, the Action 2 is a little long in the tooth 😂, but at least the lens isn't cracked. Much props to your family making it a group hike, quite impressed! Thanks for sharing with us your S-Log and the LUT. That would help a lot...but sadly I don't have a full-frame to take advantage of S-Log3! I've always thought seals remind me of dogs too. You did the right thing to help her though, well done Noi!
That mountain trek was probably my favorite thing of the whole trip. I want to move there just to scale them all and that's all I would do every day probably. So much happened on this day and I'm so grateful. Even getting scammed was a good memory :P Some people need help ya know :)
I did ask about your setting and with what you said…you lose your identity when everyone looks the same, MAKES SO MUCH SENSE! Thank you! Another beautiful video ❤
Thank you kindly. I can't tell you how many requests I've been getting to make a tutorial. I can do one but grade it in a very neutral style. That way people can understand how to get a nice image but they would then have to personalize it themselves to get a specific look. That's a possibility, but then again that's what a correction lut would do lol.
I do actually! Last vlog has some ZE4 stuff. One of the best decisions I made was to buy that camera :) I also did an FPV of china town I need to put together.
Sorry to see you got injured. Thanks for putting in one for the team. What's interesting is that this video gave me an idea for my own content. As someone who works fulltime, I don't have a lot of time to do the reviews I want to do for my channel. I have so many things I want to do reviews for, but, I also have some films I am working on with colleagues of mine. Watching this video, gave me an idea for making a production vlog where I walk through the various locations I have in mind for my films and talk about my preproduction process. So, again, thank you for your content. You inspire more people than you may know.
Man so glad this was useful. I'm learning quite a bit as well. Finding beauty in the small things. Not everything has to be educational or perfect. As long as we create we are getting better. This can then be used to augment larger videos. Thanks so much for your comment :) and I'm fine. Im pretty tough haha.
@@noisackda2564 now im curious how that would have looked. The fire pit scene was shot w a 58mm 1.2 and a speed booster which would have brought the aperture down to about f 0.9
@@buscampers F0.9! Yeah that would do it lol! Let's just say, I shot stuff at night with an F4 lens with the ZV-E1 and it ate it up for breakfast. Super clean footage and retained all the detail.
That's interesting about your color grade, that you always shoot everything in slog3...and go from there. I thought for sure you were using some "cinematic vlog" color presets on occasion. Regardless, it always looks good...much like that Hawaiian pulled pork that I'm now drooling over! And I still can't figure the lens out, as you mentioned f1.7, so I'm even further stumped... TBC
...and another one! I'm still thinking it's the Sony 20mm F/1.8 but I'm thinking it may be an even wider lens. I don't see much distortion and I'm wondering if the E1 or your editing software is correcting for that. Looks good though. I'm curious Noi, do you shoot in full auto? Wondering because you mentioned exposing with ND and the aperture changing. Wondering because I'm scared to even try allowing anything to change other than the ISO, but your stuff looks so good!
Hehehe! Not the 20mm :P Funny you mention the distortion thing. As soon as I said that in the video I thought to myself, There's no distortion haha. I shoot all manual actually. I'm a control freak. That's why I love the FX-30 so much and prefer it over the ZV-E1. With the ZX-30 there are buttons and dials all over the place that allow you to manually control everything.
Damn hope your leg healed quickly after this And may I ask, if you already got your replacement for the Osmo Action? :D You are really good at these vlogs. I simply enjoy every single one of them every day right now :)
Thanks so much my friend. I'm never sure if they are good lol. I have not replaced the Osmo Action :P I think I might get a smart phone for my action cam :P My leg is fine. It looks crazier than it is. It's really not that bad but thank you.
Oh, the colors and views are good :) Regarding the lens, the FOV feels like my 12mm on aps-c, i.e., somewhere around 16-18mm for FF. I remember in one of the videos you said you were thinking about buying an F4 lens, so I assume it's a should be a Sigma 17mm F4, right? :)
Sorry you got hurt but I cringed so much at the beginning of the video TT_TT Happy to watch these Hawaii series tho, was also looking into DJI pocket 3 for travel, which one do you have?
Hey Z! It really wasn't that bad. I'm still alive haha. I have the action 2. It's pretty good but I'm thinking I might want to get a pocket 3. I like everything about it but I wouldn't be able to strap it on to my chest like the action 2. I think the pocket 3 could replace all my cameras to be honest since I don't soot anything fancy like movies. I just need a log file so I can color grade properly. Then again, I might miss the bokeh of a real camera.
@@HiImZ91 Actually, I've seen someone mount it on their chest so it's doable, but you look sort of like a goof because you have to wear a harness haha.
if you into hiking, I think the Action 4 would be more appropriate! Loving the log but be more careful ! hahhaah..
I agree but I really like that the pocket 3 shoots in a log format.
@@noisackda2564I guess DJI nned to innovate to combined the 2 together lol

How do you like the ZVE1 vs the ZVE10?
The ZV-E10 is almost as good in the daytime but the ZV-E1 destroys the E10 in low light. Your last video would have benefited greatly.
