  • RTOM Artist and RUclips Educator Kenny Sharretts created this video to help drummers in this time of social distancing and sheltering in place.
Kenny used RTOM's Black Holes, a Yamaha EAD10, an Evans Sound Off Bass Drum Head, Big Bang Distribution's Kasza's QOTS Cymbals, and some Yamaha DTX Triggers to create a quiet practice kit that feels great, plays great, and sounds great.
This set up is perfect for drummers who need to practice, teach online lessons, or create RUclips videos (like this one) without driving crazy your neighbors, or the ones with whom you are sheltered in place... a consideration that will continue to make a kit like this useful when this challenging time passes! Kenny included the settings he used to program this kit so you can do the same at home.

Wondered how jenny was able to attached yamaha dt50 to the Rtom. Using a DT50k kick to attach to the hoop + RTom hoop. Nice thinking kenny.
Explains why the rack tom has dt20 ( discontinued but many others can be used) surface mounted.. he didn’t have another kick trigger probably.
I would think much cheaper and buy surface mount triggers at $30 vs $100 a pop for the DT50 series
Thankx for great application using the EAD10 👏👌🤙🙏🏻

Hey Kenny why are you using an Evans Sound Off on the kick? Stay safe and healthy Bro
