Awesome mate overall you will be happy! They get a bit thirsty when the larger wheels go on so have in your plans a tune - I’ve lost about 100-120km of range over my past 2 tanks filled. Used to get 680-700km city/highway now about 580/600 in similar conditions
@@ssidewayz I'll probably go 275 70 17. Only about 5kms to work for me, so pretty short commute. What's the benefits or difference with that snorkel over a traditional one like a safari etc? Aside from looking good

@@ssidewayz just got my Extra Cab 2021 Dmax, had a few mates take their Landcruiser's to dynamic diesel, top notch, will be taking mine there for tune and intercooler
The exhaust aren’t really loud because of the DPF anyway you should think about doing a tailgate central locking tailgate assist bonnet struts and I have a hurricane fabrications toolbox that I installed in the okay all those little things are really good and just makes it that little bit nicer

I have the exact same ute withour the suspension and wheels. I received mine in Feb and it is the same colour and with the same light bar kit! I absolutely love my ute, and even the "driving nannies" are ok after using them for a while.
You do change your habits to suit because half the time when I start the car i forget to hold the button to turn them off. It’s a good colour I think 😄 - get those mods going 💪🏽
The kit is specially made by Malaga Springs and suspension - they work directly with Dobinson with a lot of custom solutions - this is an MRR kit usually they heights are 2’ off the shelf - Malaga then modify/engineer the body of the front strut to be a true 3.25/3.5 inch front strut. Other systems that are 4” like PSR I believe are just spacers fitted in the strut tops so you don’t get the full travel capability. Get in touch with Malaga for more info 👍🏽
How do you find the offset of the wheels ? Just got mine and decked it out, went on first trip and found paint chips on side of car due to this ?? How’s yours 12 mths later ?
I ceramic coat protected mine - the car gets busted up on the side more definitely with the 0 offset - however it’s seems all good so far -I’ve only noticed a really decent chip on the side step atm nothing else - was considering removing them anyway. But I think the stock side steps are helping protect the side from the stone hips too 🤷🏽♂️

@@brettvandongen8506 a 16 won’t fit over the brake caliper unless you have a very positive wheel offset and then it’s only clearance will be barely 3mm from the caliper touching - 17s are realistically your best option for a bigger tyre - I see ppl running a 285/70/17 on stock suspension ok
Nothing to be sorry about. I did something to be different and it polarizes opinion which is good. You either like it or dislike it and that’s ok 👍🏽 your right world is boring otherwise. A few mates didn’t like it at first but more they around it the more it grows on them and I was the same - initially I wasn’t overly thrilled but after a day or so I warmed to it, I get more love than hate, but it definitely gets a lot of attention none the less lol

With a tune it’s a lot better especially with the lift and tyres, it was needed - Isuzu really stifle these engines if you look at the Indonesian market 4JJ are reliable and big power makers compared to most other diesels - sure the bigger v6 diesels have more power but it’s ok for me. My other car is for that 😇

Go to Reaper for the tune mate. Mine went from 154hp to 196, and I gained a couple of hundred torques as well.

Great vid, keep an eye on your tires as they are prone to uneven wear, especially with a lift that high. (Mainly because the tabs are weak as piss)

It’s not a roll bar - it’s the factory hardcover and it’s extension is a sail plane. I didn’t like it at first but it’s grown on my an ‘awful’ lot 😂😂
