Thank you for making this truly authentic review, I just received my SJE093 and it has quickly become one of my go to timepieces ion my colleXion. Keep making great reviews. aKa, Mr Valjoux
Same, the 8L, everbrilliant steel and ceramic bezel insert are big advantages over this SJE. I really do prefer the size of the 043, for many a 37-38 mm diver will seem too small.
Lovely watch, just too small for me, i do have the sla043 which was even more expensive, but its worth the money imo. People spend 4k for a tudor bb , and they are nice, and i own one. But these seikos are just extra special. The movement isnt as accurate as a tudor though , not even close. Everytime i wear my seiko i just cant help staring at it, its just perfection.
My favorite Seiko model is the 62 MAS and all of its variations. However, for the money, I recently chose a new old stock Omega Speedmaster Racing 40 mm instead of this new 62 reissue. I love Seiko and I’m not one of those ignorant folks who say “I’ll never spend that on a Seiko”, but I think at $3,500, the Omega was a better value IMO. However, I’ve previously owned the Seiko SPB143 and I just picked up the 2023 Night Vision SLA 62 MAS LE for $1,400. I still love this new 37 mm 62, so maybe one day soon, I’ll pull the trigger. Is Arizona FT selling the SJE093 for full retail?
Your calipers are a little off- case is around 37.6 -bezel is 38.2 Thickness is actually 12.9 and lug to lug is 46.4. Seiko tend to write generalised measurements, not accurate ones, or 'ones they want'
Reports of the movement so far are way better, to the point that people are suspecting Seiko is regulating the 6L more out of the factory. Do not judge next time until you are in full possession of the facts.
@EricSloferwatchreviews nothing that's new or interesting for me. Plus the bracelet still isn't up to par. Seiko's bracelets should be much better. They have been on the poor side for a long time, even some GS models. At this price point they need to improve.
Well go ahead and name them I'd like to get some of these watches in that are all better than Seiko for review so please post a quick list of all the watches and models that are better should be pretty easy ?

Beautiful, easy one watch collection ❤
Perfect watch, I have it and I love it.

This was a fantastic review. Props. Thank you!
Designed by Taro Tanaka, the creator of the grand seiko three principles.
Beautiful simplicity.
fantastic. I have the SLA043, which is my favorite watch of all, but this slightly smaller case size would make it perfect.
I agree, my most favourite watch of any...it's the only watch I wear and own.

@@vjsseafoodmountgravatt9568 100%--though I like the case diameter of my 043, but do wish it was slimmer.
Surprisingly accurate thumbnail. Yes a proper bezel alinement in Seiko is to be celebrated and praised.
I own it and I LOVE IT!! OMG this is a truly amazing watch. So under priced.
Love it when watch review use the digital measuring tool. 💯
you've got number 123, noyce!
Nice video. Good pacing on the presentation.

Looking forward for the non limited version with the 6R55 ! Seiko rules 🔥
So nice. Pretty sure the king seiko has the 6L also. Love the reviews. Keep up the good work
The king Seiko does have a version of this movement but not this exact movement this one is more robust and it's been upgraded for diving use
King seiko have the 6L35 movement, I just don't know the difference 🤔
@@JB-qt8eh The Diver has a heavier Rotor to insure underwater use and a different shock resistant case mounts internally

Every day the price goes up.

This watch is really encroaching Grand Seiko/Oris/Sinn/Tudor pricing territory…
Well it should be because it's a high quality limited edition beautiful watch that actually is probably better than all of those watches
Seiko should start to regulate their watches to precision accuracy if they are asking for so much money.
Reports of the movement so far are way better, to the point that people are suspecting Seiko is regulating the 6L more out of the factory. Do not judge next time until you are in full possession of the facts.
It's two seconds a day anyway
3500 for a seiko? yeah nah.
This price for a seiko???plastic strap????200 m.....seiko?
It's cheap at $3,500 the finishing is fantastic
Can we see your face?
It is a beautiful watch but I simply cannot get over that small size, I prefer a larger watch when it is a diver. Also a bit stiff on the price
Too much money, just too much for me 😢
Seiko has lost their way.
How so ?
Because what, you can't afford it, what's your problem?

@@jonirwin7316it’s a remake, it’s not meant to be new….
@iangraham705 I know.
Same as other Seiko dive watches, little imagination in design and as usual too expensive
You can buy better for less.

It’s a remake of an old watch, difficult to use much imagination
