  • Have you ever found yourself stuck in a therapy session with a client who doesn’t know why they’re feeling depressed, anxious, or continue to smoke? It’s a common scenario for therapists and coaches using techniques like RTT. You prepare for a session, but your client takes it in an entirely unexpected direction.
In this video, I share my approach to handling these challenging moments. Learn why it's essential to let go of preconceived ideas and scripts and follow your client's lead. Discover the power of asking simple, thought-provoking questions to unlock new insights for your client.
By embracing a more flexible and client-centred approach, you can achieve better results and reduce the pressure on you and your clients. Join me as I explore these strategies and more in advanced conversational therapy.

Meet our client in the place they currently find themselves. If we don’t do that we are likely to be met with resistance to move from that place. We have also made a judgment about where they are if we push! I trust the wisdom of the human organism in knowing what it needs and meeting that need. Embrace the person where they are and then change is possible! Great video! Thank you! Best wishes from the UK!
