Glad to help! Really glad that my videos are helpful. I have some new stuff coming out very soon. It might be worth signing up to the newsletter on my website www.teachertrainingvideos.com/sign-up My site is teachertrainingvideos.com
@@ttvRussell You have no idea how much your videos have been helping me!!!! Unfortunately, I haven't been able to sign up to the newsletter. It seems like the link is broken, Sir. Would you mind checking it out for me, please?
I think I found out about Wordwall from one of your videos, I have not stopped using it ever since. In fact I used it a number of times in my lesson today, I think it's just great and so are all your videos!
Thanks for this, Russell. As usual, your video tutorials help me a lot in my online teaching. I have tried using simple word wall games after watching about it in one of your videos, but this made me see that I can do a lot more.😊🙏
Just learned about WordWall. Seems very appealing. What I would like to do is have the program scramble the questions and the answers. Is there a setting that does that? So that each student has questions and answers in different orders, in a quiz. Thanks!
Diane, sort of becauase Wordwall does randomise the questions anyway,..so if you play a game twice you will see that the questions don't always come up in the same order, though that depends on the type of activity you choose.
Great video, thanks for the tips. Wordwall is such a simple and effective platform. I've been using paid Wordwall for a while (worth the money) but one thing I would like to use is different question types or activities in the same quiz (like Google forms). Is this possible? For example question 1 is 'mutiple choice', question 2 is 'match up', and question 3 is 'missing word'.
Carl, I don't think you can do that unfortunately. Have you ever looked at this tool? ruclips.net/video/TacikA83T6E/видео.html If you are a language teacher, I really recommend it.
@@ttvRussell Thank you very much for your reply Russell. Yes, I am an ESL teacher in France with mostly school leavers. I've just watched your great video about ZenGengo, and I will sign up for the trial. Wordwall is a lovely platform but is limited in some aspects of technology, and I really need more than it can offer now. BTW, how do I sign up for your newsletter please?
I can't quite follow the question but I think you are asking whether you can use Wordwall in courses that people pay for. I honestly don't know the answer but I would presume you could. You are not charging for Wordwall are you? You are charging for your course and so I can't see a problem. You could email them and check with them if you wanted.
Is there a way to add audio to activities? I teach French as a Second Language, and it would be so helpful for my students to be able to hear the French words as they play the games and complete the activities.
Can this be used with multiple sections of a class. For example, period 1, period 2, etc. Would I have to recreate a game to get specific results for a given class?
You create a link which you share with your students so they can click on it and start the game. Watch this video: ruclips.net/video/7clIANVFezk/видео.html
To add Wordwall to PowerPoint, you can simply insert it as a web page or hyperlink using the "Insert" tab in PowerPoint and pasting the Wordwall link or embedding it as an if available.

I use this. I pay very little money monthly. It's great.
I am glad. Thanks for sharing
Thanks for this Russell! I knew that you can change the type of the activity but I wasn't aware that you can also duplicate it. Very useful :)

Thanks for all these tutorials :) Does Wordwall have instructor-led option like Quizziz or Kahoot?
adam, sorry been do busy...no it doesn't.
Hello. Thank you for the fabulous lesson. Is it for primium users?
The copy trick should work even with the free account. give it a try.

Hi! Thanks for the great content. I have one question. Can we use wordwall activities that we created on our paid online course page?
I can't quite follow the question but I think you are asking whether you can use Wordwall in courses that people pay for. I honestly don't know the answer but I would presume you could. You are not charging for Wordwall are you? You are charging for your course and so I can't see a problem. You could email them and check with them if you wanted.
Looks excellent, apart from the excruciating sound effects! Presumably they can be switched off?
Probably Yes or just put the volume down. Thanks Steve for the comment

Nicole, not that I know of. I think it is very word based.
Can this be used with multiple sections of a class. For example, period 1, period 2, etc. Would I have to recreate a game to get specific results for a given class?
You can use the same game time and time again or edit the content and then use it again.
Can i add audio to activities?
No, not at the moment. I don't know if that is something they are planning to introduce.
Good day sir is word wall free if i make activities?new subscriber fr 🇵🇭
Wordwall is free. Thank you
Can students work with their phones?
Sorry, I don't use the app so not sure how good it is
should students log in first to join the game?

How to add it to PowerPoint?

Why is not it free?😓
It is free for up to 5 games but you can do the editing on these games so they can be easily changed to a different activity.
Too bad it cost money. Need more free and easy to use programs.
