You look STUNNING. Im 47 y.o and I love this always. I wear it all the time. I always bought 2 bottles of youth dew because Im so afraid the will not Produce it anymore
Marilyn reminds me of you. So many similar mannerisms and way of moving and speaking. It’s unbelievable how much you remind me of Marilyn. I have studied Marilyn for more than 40 years, so I know what I am saying. Blessings to you Mona. I look forward to your next video! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Couldn't find Youth Dew extract or anything that looked like the bottle you show - is it vintage? I think I will go with the bath oil as that seems the nearest to what you describe. Your channel is my favorite!
She also adored a fragrance from Harry Lehman’s store in Berlin called “Veilchen.” They have been around since 1926 and they still have the original formulations. Frau Tonis also has it. It’s so beautiful and smells like Toulousian violets. Violets were all the rage in the roaring 20s 🎉 It’s an absolutely gorgeous fragrance and my holy grail, slightly vintage but still modern. You can only get it in Berlin, but it’s worth a trip for such an iconic fragrance that captures the lovely essence of such an iconic woman when she was in her prime. ❤
Hi Mona. I love your videos. It shows your passion for what you do. I have a question you might know... my mom was a big fan of two Givenchy perfumes: Ysatis and Amarige. Do you have any stories about them? If you do, I would love to hear them. Thank you!
Hi Marie, thank you for your kind words. I actually don't have stories on them. Except that I know a couple people that wore those perfumes and that they are beautiful scents. 🥰✨💫
Absolutely, it was at the Queens theatre in London, in, I think , ‘71, during the two week run she always wore Miss Dior, I knew the perfume well, as I wore it myself, and thought it interesting that she wore the same perfume as Vivien Leigh. Interestingly enough Noel Coward mentions the perfume in his biography.
I worked for a company called Wig Creations a famous ‘Peruquier’ who made her hairpieces , which we dressed and delivered to the theatre. For street wear she had a fall attached to a bandeau, which matched her own hair, an idea she got from Vivien Leigh, who had very curly hair, and preferred the smooth look of the sixties. This is not to say she did not wear Youth Dew, but on the several occasions I met her it was Miss Dior.
Thank you for your video 🌟 LOVE from Bucharest Romania
My pleasure! 💖🥰💫✨

Love Youth Dew, and, sorry to disagree, but Marlene Dietrich always wore Miss Dior .
Did you actually smell her? Like the two people that actually did.
