The one time i softly dropped it my case chipped and didnt protect my phone at all. A few weeks passed and the lovely pink colour got discoloured and become an ugly yellowish colour, i originally thought it was because it needed cleaned but it was just because the colour faded.
I bought the same case for my phone about 6 months ago I’ve dropped it a few times on hard concrete but nothing ever broke and the colors hasn’t faded. The only thing is that the silicone will chip off if you drop it. Not really worth 50 but if u want to try it they go on sale all the time. Mine was 34.
I think it depends on what you do daily, my dad has the same case in green. He’s had it for probably like 1 year and it’s been fine. I’d recommend getting a camera and screen protector if you want to protect your phone and a soft drop is different for everyone, my screen protectors cracked from dropping off my bed.
The apple cases get like the silicone on the wrap gets dislodged?? Like the actual phone case cover is coming off because they didn’t tuck it in enough
The most durable cases are the cheapest. I’ve had mine for 4 years it cost me 10 zł (2£/2,5$) and it works great. When you look for a phone case choose one with edges that stick out (if they’re on the same level as your screen they won’t protect it). My phone hit the wall or the ground so many times and nothing happened my screen is flawless.
