- This vid show why is it so important to install and extra or more powerfull battery to any Car Audio System that is Pushing Over 500RMS. Just installed a Kinetik 1400R with major improvements on voltage i'm able to go all out finally! MORE TO COME! SUBSCRIBE AND COMMENT!

Oh yea Amen to that I will make a video and show you how its going with my big 3 upgrade which I am using Rockfordfosgate 0G guage wire along with my Kinetik HC 1400 using KHC top post I cant wait to see how it all goes together . . I got 2 Alpine type R's I have a feeling its going to rock them puppies even more .
@MillyFlow there's three amps here two alpine mrp-m500 amps and the rockford amp does 572 with all channels bridged but the way i have it hooked up your right that's how i get 1400rms but i did do i test run and unoffically i'm 144db

@DeadlySones the roofing mat is called "flashing" it's aluminum on one side and like a sticky black tar Adhesive it sticks very well as long as you clean the surface my other vids show the exact stuff i used. i'm sure that you can find it @ any home hardware or Rona

i needed a starting battery so i got this 1400R witch is the most powerful power cell they make for these cars cuz of the small battery size civics use, there will be a 800 kinetik power cell install in the rear in the near future
@BIGGIEDEVIL --- great job man them kinetics are sweet lol the one i ahev been looking at has a built in 5 farad capacitor but i dont think they come side post i havnt seen one yet but i havnt dug into it yet either.

@BIGGIEDEVIL -- i know lol but the new ones have built in capacitors the 2010 models have built in 30 farad caps built into them some have bigger caps for even more power they still put out the amperage yet they also have the capacitor to back that power up. there very sweet batteries but there 300 plus smackers each.
the HC1400R is what i have and it's a great addition! like wow! did you see in my vid how much more power i got with just the install! no changes to the amp settings at all and it was like 3 times louder. have your alt checked to insure best performance good luck make a vid of your install when your done so i can check it out

Upgrading your battery is a great idea, but once you've had your system running for a few minutes, you're charging system will bare the demand of your amplifiers. If your alternator isn't up to par, your battery won't like it.

Amen bro I couldnt agree with you more XS Power is cheap junk if you ask me and like you said. When it comes to car audio you want the best for your money and that is Kinetik . I know I cant wait to get my Kinetik HC 1400 put in the front of my car. I am really excited about that and cant wait to get it in the mail

@WackaFlockaFLEXIN these are the first generation P3's from rockford they are completely different from the newer ones but if you ever heard these subs you'd like them, i've never had a complaint from anyone who has heard it in person the only haters are here on youtube but i like to read all the comments bad or good
@mcgerry6969 this power cell is able to run the car and put out 1400rms without a alt upgrade any bigger or more power requires an alt upgrade says so in the manual but that is comming soon too!
u can also blow a sub from underpowering it mostly if the amp isnt getting the power it needs

i've had the battery for over 3 years now no issues and my car always starts in 2 seconds you can hear it crank the car over with no issues ever, most battery issues are that they are lead acid batteries and they do not preform well in cold temps then dry cell battery does

yes an alt upgrade is highly recommended, but this is an battery install not an alt install vid, the intention of the vid is to show what an battery upgrade can do for your system by simply swapping them out for one another, thanks for the comment
@cbucks2869 with this power cell it holds @ 14.4 even with the car off i never drop below 13.6 @ the worse, remember this isn't a deep cycle battery, this power cell would blow away deep cycle or Optmia battery with ease
@mysubsbang this power cell has more power than a 300 farad capacitor puts out 1500amps and over 1150cranking amps
never used xs power cuz it was cheaper than kinetik so i went more expensive cuz you get what you pay for and when it comes to car audio it's no different wanted my shit to last for years not last for a few months
@tmadison14 a bought retail it was expensive i'm buying on ebay next time it was $200 or less on there
you can over power subs and not bow them as long as your smart about it

Are the screws that are on the subwoofer's cone real screws or are they fake screws?
Just got an 1800 for my car but it is 2 big for my 2001 monte carlo. I guess i have to buy 1200 because it is smaller and put the 1800 in the trunk. I didn't want to buy 2 batt unless i do some cutting on front frame.
If that were me I would of shown a before and after with the most important thing he could of used in the video to get more likes...a digital volt gauge like I did..when I added mine it never went 13.9 again
Well this video is from 8 years ago and i didn't have the time to install a meter cuz of the budget i was on but the new battery helped so much, thanks for the comment

if you mean clipping? then yes a distorted signal is always bad, but clean power from an amp that is underpowering it won't hurt the sub at all

@raygunz45 my score was @ 43 htz and i'm not braging or anything it's nothing special and i realize that reason for building a wall 6 12's with 4 Kenitik HC2400 batteries with a H/O 200+amper alt, haven't choose the amps yet. it's all in the works man. btw do you think your Alpine Type R you have is even louder than this system in the vid you watched? i think not. but there is alot more to come so comment all you want! cheers!
i pushing an rockford fosgate 400.4 400rms to the doors and 2 Alpine MRP-M500amp 500rms each to the subs 1000rms so 1400rms total

So you just replaced your starting battery with the kinetik battery? Seems easier than installing a second battery but how well does this hold up? Have you had any problems with it yet?

So you using the kinectic battery as your starting battery and to power your system? I have 2 12"kicker l7's and a 2400 watt amp and 0gauge power and ground wire and also the big 3 done and I was woundering could I use this battery as my starting battery as well as to power my system with?
why did you put that 1400 in the hood and not in the trunk?

If u under power an amp it can clip and distort which does damage subs... well a cheap amp, most good ones don't tho

@MillyFlow whoa slow down big guy you know there are ppl on youtube doing 142db with one rockford p3 theres a guy who did 139db with one 8" P3 on one voice coil. as soon as my wall is build is finished i'll do it no problem and yes there will be a vid of it to show all my subscribers. btw 128db is extremely low and ppl with 2 p2's like mysubsbang will tell you be hit 139db with 2 12's as well with only 500rms!

i hate to be the one to tell you this but your amp only does 100 watts rms x4 channels. not 1400 rms. also you spelt Rockford wrong in your video. and to add your STILL not doing 140db's

I love dissecting these types of vids (case 1) who ever this person is didn't show the volume level of the head unit...(case 2) showing the rearview mirror vibration doesn't prove NOTHING!!! and (case 3) putting audio over the actual video is LAME!!!!! ONLY INSTALL VIDS HAVE AUDIO OVER VIDEO......

I have a 01 explorer stock alternator and battery.I am planning in the next month installingy sound which are 2 12 in phoenix gold ti 12 elite they pull 1000 rms out of each.also big 3 upgrade a 1200 kinetik in back but I'm stuck at a good amp to power my subs taking ne suggestions but I only want to spend around 200 for it I need to pull 2000 rms watts help!!!!!
