Lord Jesus, You are the center of my life; I do so adore You...I trust You, I try to never make a decision without Your guidance. Thank you for the many blessings & grace You have given to me. Your Mother's presence, too, is a gift beyond description. I am grateful, O Holy One, I pray I express my gratitude through my everyday life; actions, mercy & love. ♡
I had exactly the same feelings, Ken, as Fr. Matthew was ordained a deacon on his way to becoming a priest - he’s not ours any more, he belongs to God and to the Church. It was sad, yes, but also so joyful. What mother wouldn’t want her son to be fulfilling his calling, his destiny? And it has been a great blessing for our family and so many others.
There was a plan Janelle for you had this wonderful guy n now you had 6 beautiful children … n we have your ministry that leading us into a very good n inspiring life, thanks so much … God bless …~
My dad always said I was on earth by the grace of God; on loan from Him. Dad further said he was grateful for the responsibility of keeping a child of Jesus safe by calling upon the Spirit's assistance. What beautiful words to hear while growing up ...♡♡♡
This was so beautiful and touching. Thank you for sharing Ken and Janelle. Day 20 of Consecration and I look forward to completing the complete 33 day consecration. God Bless.
This is the second time I have consecrated to Our Blessed Mother using your 33 day preparation and on each occasion, I shed tears. You guys touch my life. May God bless you.
I'm so touched by your feelings towards the priesthood or the consecrated life in general. My grandmother & mother said that the family is truly blessed more because of a son given to God. I also believe that your family is very blessed because you're rare these days amidst the godlessness, materialism, modernism. I wish that you too will have a priest or a sister/nun among your children. It's also because you both come from godly families, that is very important. 💗
Thank you for such a beautiful, brave, empathic video - your honesty and compassion is truly God-given. I also cried and praised Our Lord for truly amazing people such as you two.. God bless you both, love from UK x x 🙏✝️🙏
It is so touching to know there are so many religious in both your families, Ken. And it so so touching to see the love you and Janelle share, and your willingness to have a child become a priest. God bless your family. I am thankful I found your channel. : )
In Fatima, two weeks ago, Sister Lucia’s niece (Sister Mary of the Angels) , age 101, dressed in her full Carmelite wear with habit, praying her rosary, sat across from Sister Lucia’s childhood home and greeted us all. Excited to see the first American pilgrim group to Fatima in almost two years. My husband got her to smile! I’d post a photo if I could.
Such a beautiful & heartfelt sharing! Thank you Ken & Janelle! I would be surprised if you are not fostering a priest or sister in your home among your children. Thy will be done! God bless your precious family!
Absolutely beautiful! What a blessings to have priests in your family!! My youngest baby is too blessed for she has priest as her godfather and through it we all are! Thank you for being so real too.... tears rolled down my cheek.God bless!
Thank you both for such a beautiful session. What a wonderful calling for your brother Ken. Janelle i also believe if my husband and I did not meet my life would have gone down a different pathway which I believe may have been the church. 🙏🙏💖💖
I love how you feel and reflect on this gift of vocation (priesthood & consecrated life). I, myself, have experienced this gift thru our missionary friends. Indeed, a great gift to mankind.
This is such a beautiful message and I think my favorite so far. I cried so much! Thank you for taking time to share your hearts and souls and for making these videos. My God continue to bless you, your family, and your ministry!
So great- and true! No family to have children Baptized and raised in the faith will be no Priests and religious . How precious they are to us all. A true gift from God. They are so kind and different. Set apart. God Bless them all.
Oh so heartwarming! I am blessed to live in a city, and always in a parish served by the Congregation of Holy Cross priests. Over all my years I have come to know so many great men who have given their lives to God. The ordinations I have attended over the years are so moving, and always make me cry. Ave Crux Spes Unica.
I’ve been journeying with you both and was so touched by both of you and the messages of being called as Father or sister. You are both blessed and I’m honored to be following along. Your explanation has given me much to think about thank you! 😇
Thank you for sharing your video with all your personal experiences of your lives. Such a beautiful testimony about your lives. You are such a beautiful couple God Bless you and your Family. Bless the Lord! We need more positive videos as you share.
Awww Beautiful talk Ken and Jenelle. It made me Cry too, as it really touched my heart. I am Praying for Our Priests, as OUR HOLY MOTHER KEEPS ASKING US TO DO, especially in the times we are now living in. GOD Bless You Both, and Your Lovely Family Near and Far. 😘🌹🌹🌹🙏💖🙏🌟✨✨✨
In my city there is a parish Our Lady of Mount Caramel and someone went there in the middle of the night and knocked over statues and did a lot of damage it was so sad. Please pray for this person to repent and come to God. Your story was so beautiful and honest and I got tears in my eyes as well God Bless you and your families
I have always enjoyed your videos from the day I signed up after you did a mission at our church in Connecticut, but I just wanted to let you know how much I am getting out of this Our Lady of Fatima 33 consecration. I look forward to it every day and I think I will miss it when it ends. Thank you so much Ken and Janelle!
I was wondering if Father Dan was your brother. What a blessing he and you and your family are to us, Your brother Dan is in the St.Joseph Colony which is very dear to me as I grew up in that colony,
We love the Dominican Sisters of Mary Mother of the Eucharist. They're at the school at our parish. :) Ken I would also have to say thank you for your vulnerability. Your brother's gift is not only to your family but to his parish/flock as well. You are truly blessed to have your brother in your life. I think of your camping trip and bringing your own priest and I see the blessings on the personal level.
Thank you for sharing ...Blessings to you and your family. I think 🤔I missed my calling to be a Carmelite Nun. .im already 56. So I pray without ceasing at home and Church. 😇🙏💜
❣️🕊❣️ WOW. Thank you for sharing an intimate moment of your lives with us. Your love and marriage shines Gracefully. I tell myself and let my children know often that as their mother I have one important job which by the Grace of God is to help my husband and I raise Saints. I don’t have time at moments to finish saying that to them when they finish off my sentence. 😊 We have 5 children. I ask my sons if they have considered being priest, all have replied no. My 2 daughter’s have no desire of being nun’s either. Listen to his calling for either marriage or to serve and follow is what I say to them. Let it be his will. Thank you again and God Bless.
@@Catholicspeaker yes on Facebook...I am from swift current and some friends forwarded for me early in pandemic...and many of us still go to him even now...I would love to go in person some day..he has a joyful heart ❤I did not know until yesterday he was your brother...🙏
O you make me cry...i can relate how you feel...like what happened to our younger sister when she entered in the convent & when she make her vows... i was crying then...but their was happiness deep within me....♥️🙏⛪
My family is so blessed! I have cousin nuns and a nephew priest. Now, my eldest daughter is a Perpetually professed nun! Just like you, I cried (a river) during her presentation and her vow. 'Yeah, 'hurts to let go but happier to see her sooo happy to be wed to Jesus!
I remember seeing some of the Sisters who taught us. They were Sisters of St. Joseph. They wore a modified habit. They were prayerful. They were dedicated. There were a few who didn't wear a habit. Some were still prayerful and one got me turned onto the Rosary and loving Our Lady. Sadly she left religious life but she made a big impact on my life. I also had many wonderful priests. Two of them were devoted to Our Lady and the Rosary. One had a Rosary on the radio. At Franciscan University, I was blessed with Fr. Mike Scanlan TOR. Then there's the Marians of the Immaculate Conception like Fr. Don Calloway MIC, Fr Chris Alar MIC and others. What a blessing
Always thank you for your videos they help a lot to understand more about my religion. It's funny but when I was young about age 6-10 years old I wanted to be a Nun. I always wondered but I'm blessed that I'm a Mother of two Sons that I love. Blessings to you and your family 🙏🙏
There is a young man discerning the priesthood in our parish . He just applied to the seminary . I am going to try to get this video to him through our priest . It’s so motivating .
