As I only have used the outlander as a workboot, and by the specs still will, I still want to give the bahe a try. That extra toe room is calling. Thanks for the review we all needed.
I was so excited when i received the rediscover...i ordered the same size as usual for me and it was waay too big. But more important, it really really hurt when walking. Every time i flex the toes the stiffness of the material hurt my skin, i had to send them back, sadly. Hope they will fix this stiffness problem
I have been wearing the outlanders for maybe 8-9 months and have never gotten more compliments on a shoe. Also have gone on decent trail runs in them and hikes and they do great. They do run small as all lems seem to. Half size up for all lems unless they have a narrow toebox like the mesa then its a full size up. My only real gripe with lems is their laces. Always too short. Had to outright replace my boulder summit laces. They were unusably short.
My lems boulder summit had the soles start peeling after 1 season and now has a hole in the side. Testing out Xero alpine now. My original lems boulder boot nylon lasted 2 years and the soles only peeled because I was installing rubber mat flooring at the gym and was dragging them. Edit: lems and xero both make size 15 so they are my best choices for 6’4 250lbs male
Masterfully presented man! Professional work 👏👏

Two very nice offerings, I'd go with the rediscover based on toe box, but I like them both.
Thanks for the comparative analysis, a perfect pairing.
