sounds like you have no plans to go back to your last job... if that job was so great, why did you quit? why burn the bridges if you did... why find a new job after 3 months if the previous job was so great... this is like killing the goose who laid the golden egg isn't it?

Take advantage of your time now while you can.
I can speak from experience. When I also didn't have big expenses... not my own family etc etc. I also left my great career in the health profession to travel the world for many many months lol. (was a blast!).
I taught English and Science online along the way and that subsidized my travel expenses.
Now I have a family and am in the opposite position as you Caleb haha.
Expenses much higher, taking care now of my beautiful little girl and beautiful wife.
Now I need to find a Cloud computing role ...then I'm back to the grind. Let's go!
Incidentally I'm lucky to have my teaching job still in the meantime.
Good luck on your new endeavour and my advice would be don't look back ...enjoy the moments friend!

Good Luck Man, I also did quite my job 2 months ago for the exact same reason. My Honest Opinion is if you can do what you've set out to achieve on this channel, this might just be one of the best career decisions you'll ever make. As for your job? you can always get another job, and even better whenever you want, it might not be easy but its very possible as long as you also don't stop growing. ✌🏽

Caleb, I’ve been subbed to you for a bit now and enjoy your honesty and smiling personality. Question for you: Here in the States, I have been in tech for four years now. I work full time for a local school district. I only make about $50,000/yr USD, but I DO get a pension and school schedule, meaning lots of school observed days off. As long as I sign my contract each July, I get a raise each year. However, lately I have felt complacent and not challenged. What’s the best approach here? Stay put with a guaranteed salary or start studying cloud or cyber and eventually pursue interviews in the background? For context, I am a Father of two and want the best for them.
Start studying now and completing projects. There is also the Cloud Resume Challenge to get you up and running. Something you can do to self-study during your free time.
This is where time management comes to play! As a busy busy man you’ll need to find those hours within the week that you can do some studying and find them consistently. 💪🏾 I can certainly relate to having a lot on my plate but if it’s what you want you must go for it my friend! 🤩 find a way 💯

I'm very confused about my career path. I started a data analyst course about 15 days ago, but after doing some research, I've become concerned about job replacement by AI. I'm unsure if I should continue with data analysis or explore cloud engineering or data engineering instead. I'm feeling overwhelmed and could use some guidance.

Lool no bro, I left for the reasons I said! Mainly to focus on this RUclips channel which has potential to grow if I give it full attention, at least for some months.
As for finding the next job it probably won’t be exactly 3 months but when it’s been 3 months of focusing on RUclips I’ll start applying again. 👌🏾

I guess it's only 3 months but I also think that the cloud engineering job could not really make you happy and you need content creation to be happy.
