  • Momofuku is a world renowned restaurant, and now you can get their noodles at home! I've never been myself, but I've seen other RUclips videos about the place and it's head chef David Chang. I've also seen a ton of ads for these noodles on the internet lately, so marketing did it's job admirably. I almost ordered these noodles from their site directly, but instead I found this package at Target for about 12 bucks.
    From the Momofuku website:
"Meet the next generation of dried noodles.
Momofuku Soy & Scallion Noodles combine the convenience of packaged noodles with the restaurant-level flavor that Momofuku is known for. Plus our noodles are air-dried, never fried so they’re as nutritious as they are delicious. Each order contains 5 servings of noodles.
Our Soy & Scallion noodles come with a rich sauce made from soy sauce and sesame oil. It creates the perfect balance of salty, sweet, and savory flavors. The included scallion pack takes it to the next level.
Our noodles are different from instant ramen. They have 25% fewer calories and double the protein and zero mg of cholesterol."

For those interested, the difference between scallions and green onions is their age, even though they’re basically the same plant. Scallions are thin, picked early and are a bit tender, while green onions are picked later and have larger bulbs. They’re also a bit more fibrous than scallions.

I think you saw our recent review of the soy ginger noodles at Momofuku Las Vegas. They were so good that we had to go back and have them again another day! I'll have to try these, especially since there aren't any Momofuku restaurants where we live.

I knew I had seen the restaurant somewhere recently. Gotta admit some ginger would have definitely made this a bit more interesting. Kind of want to get a jar of the chili crunch to try.

I've never tried those... I must confess I did try those BBQ Doritos that you reviewed earlier
and I enjoyed them very much! Cheers!

I've never heard of these, but I am tempted to try them due to them being vegan. Most ramen brands have chicken/beef in them and so I don't normally eat them. Btw I'm glad that you were able to get something that you normally wouldn't have tried.

It was thanks to you. I might also pick up their chili sauce sometime and see how it is. It seems like people really love it. Of course I'm not sure exactly how spicy it will be.

I wonder if you would like it more with their chili sauce. I think most people add things to the noodle mixture. I agree that it is expensive, if you compare it to ramen, but I don’t think it is the same. I haven’t seen them in my stores yet. Though you don’t have me convinced to try them.

I also wonder about the chili sauce. It seems to be the biggest thing they have going.

Those look really yum 😋! I've never heard of the brand, but it really has me curious...like you it's the price thing for noodles 🍜.

Yeah it can be hard to get over the price. Might still try another variety to see if it's a little more interesting.

Hi Josh, quite expensive. They do have simple ingredients. I was expecting some food ingredients that were created in a science lab. Not the case. Doesn't sound like they're worth the price though.

Yeah I don't think so. Still tempted to try another variety.
