- Being a new mom, I don't always have time to make dinner. We have been very very busy with our baby. So lately we have been eating a lot of instant noodles. I consider myself quite the noodle connoisseur. So today we tested the new #Momofuku #instantnoodles in collab with A-Sha. We tried the original, Spicey soy, Soy Scallion and Tingly Chili.
thank you, you have convinced me not to bother ordering. I'll just stick to my local T&T selection.
I love Momofuku noodles - I add all kinds of stuff to them. I have even used the plain ones instead of pasta with spaghetti sauce.
The noodles are fabulous - thick and high quality. The sauces however, are bland, not enough sauce or flavor. Very disappointing and I tried all the flavors, none of them are worth it
Hi Kate,
Glad to see that you are doing more videos. Nice meeting baby Gemma. Looking forward to viewing more of your inspiring videos.
A simply delightful and insightful review-welcome back! As well, cheers to your adorable child and your contagious positive attitude!
Thank you so much! I took a lot of time off to take care of my baby. I’m happy to be back. I miss making videos so much!
I just had the soy and scallions it wasnt flavorful i had to add my own sauces and my home made chili oil to to make mine taste good...my wife ate hers as is and she did not like it lol
It’s very simple tasting. And I hope I conveyed that. For people who have a wide range palate and can really eat… might find it bland. But I think it’s ok for some people who have a simple palate and maybe not as use to strong flavours.
Gemma (Jemma?) needs more screentime
Gemma…aww thanks for saying that. I will have her on more often.
These are a great base to make a fuller meal out of. Adding in and egg, shrimp, chicken, pork, veggies, other complimentary seasonings, etc.
you are delightful. Not everyone loves spicy foods but this is a great review for this product that has 3 flavors. I think i would go with #2 since I dont want a shrimp aftertaste.
The noodles look like Raman out of the package
Thank you
Can the noodles be microwaved to cook them? I cannot find the cooking instructions.
Boil water, add noodles into the boiling water. Remove noodles. Add flavours 😂
Lovely info packed videos, thank you. but you fail to mention cost for the Momofuku products. where i ammthey are shipped and seem v v $$ for dried ramen kits, David Chang or not.
Great point! Thanks
Looks delicious!
Jesus Loves you ❤️
So, have you bought it again?
No, I make dry noodles better at home myself.
Why would you say this when you concluded with "will buy again, 10/10"? Are they sponsoring you?
@@JesseLiu-jl3qxwouldn't be surprised. U know how it is these days. $$
Like her, I wouldn’t buy again. Tried all flavors and they’re all bland. Put all kinds of toppings and spices to tweak it and you’ll still end up with bad noodles. Waste of money.
I think the major thing people are overlooking is that these are air dried NOT fried, so they are lower in fat than other ramen. As a heart patient, I’ve been looking for a good healthier ramen option so I’d like to try these.
I made these recently, but the noodles were mushy and all stuck together in a ball with the sauce. Did I overcook the noodles or not strain them enough? Or both?
There was a Black Friday sale, just got some more. It’s good to have on hand for a quick meal, add an egg, whatever u like. But just stuck with the tingly spicey one. Did get a pack of their new flavors sweet and spicey.
Thanks for the review. I tried the soy and scallion and the spicy noodle….both in my opinion were and lacked alot of flavor that i expected from David Chang. I will stick to Shin ramyeon :).
Yeah I agree. I didn’t want to trash it. It’s good for someone with a simple palate. But if you have a diverse palate and can handle a lot of flavour… it’s a bit disappointing.
Wish you would add a review with his chili sauce added to the noodles.
Thank you! This is what I was wondering!
Great, honest review.
Thank you.
Where does this rank on your top instant noodles list?
I like the Laksa prima best!
add some spam!?!? pass!
You just managed to insult entire generations of Hawaiians and southern Americans in one short post. 😂
I’d recommend adding a jump cut and then waiting till you’re done chewing before you start your review. Most professional cooking shows do this so you’re not struggling to talk and swallow a mouth full of food
