Superstar of India rajnikant...respect...
The last dialogue that he told "Na oru thadave sonna nooru thadave sonna madhiri" is very very famous dialogue of rajnikanth...it's well known dialogue among all the rajnikanth fans from all over the world...
Pk Prabakar rajnikant is from Karnataka, born in Karnataka
Sanjaykumar Patil but he is a tamil actor
Pk Prabakar well said.. 👍
Pk Prabakar earlier he was Kannada actor too...and okay...we are proud of our Karnataka actor rajnikant become superstar in Tamil...
Abi Logathas doesn't matter where he born or where he belong... He is an Indian superstar
Infact after this fight he reveals what he was in the past......it was a trend setter movie in late 90s......superb movie........and greetings to all of you
This is a awesome scene in this movie...super hit movie in tamil film industry.. vintage ..😎😎😎😎
U guys bring up nostalgic stuff.. We used to threw popcorn into air in theatre during this scene as kids
He's a Demi God in India. A rags to riches man, he used to be a bus conductor, rose up to be the biggest superstars in india. The man in real life is incredibly down to earth and his humility is legendary. A spiritual man, he often visits the Himalayas, meditating in caves, sleeping on floors, eating simple foodwhile being the highest paid movie star.
He is currently acting in Indias costliest film. Although he is shown 35 years younger in his films thanks to Wigs and prosthetics, he never is 'dressed up' to impress, and always appears in public gatherings modestly dressed despite his status.
Thalaivar for a reason
The last dialogue was pretty badass. "If I ever see you anywhere near me, I'm gonna bury you there itself ".
Just for full effect the actual translation would be:
*"If I Even see you here again, i'll Bury You Deep - right AT the spot I found you."*
If I see you EVER again, that will be your burial ground. Me saying once means a hundred times. **bgm - baasha baasha**
And yes, that is the interval scene. Spoiler alert: He adopted his best friend's family after he's killed by the rival gang. Baasha is his friend's name that he joins with his own after this incident. Hence the name Baasha. Manik baasha.
*So you saw the LEGENDARY fight scene. It's a major twist in its story. He is sir, truly a 'bad ass '! Watching him in the movie theater is many people's dream. And when the dream comes true... BANG😎😎😎!!! Nice reaction 👌👍. (Including you Ben... ) 👏👏👏.*
*👉'Super Star' - 'Rajinikanth'.👈*
The best movie of rajnikanth's career
You guys were right, it was the interval block. It's cool how u guys know it precisely. Well done. He says at the end "if I say it once, it is equivalent to saying it 100 times". Btw loved ur reaction to KABALI 's climax scene. Cheerios!
if u dont know, Rajinikanth's eyes are considered his most powerful features. U can feel the intensity, fierceness, sadness etc tat makes viewers electrified. Tat is y his eyes r often highlighted, practically in all his movies. If stares cud kill, he's the man for it
Epic movie. Trend setter. Legendary movie.
This is a 1995 movie
It is a legendary classic
Absolutely epic🔥
Padayappa also
If you watch the movie then this fight will make some sense. If not it won’t. It’s more than 20 years now. At that time it was a major success. So I suggest you should try watching. Apparently he was ex gangster who has given up on the underworld life and tries to live a normal life hiding his past. He is not know for fighting. That’s why some of the people in that scene are surprised when he starts retaliating. In fact he got beaten by the same guy in a previous scene and does nothing about it. There is more interesting stuff about the movie.
Omg his dialogues and the pulling the shirt behind actions were legendary and even a 6 year old would do it back in the days aka my little bro lol
Goosebumps guaranteed Everytime... The SUPERSTAR,,,RAJINIIIIIKAAAAANTH .
You cant feel the scene without rajini was hidden by rowdies in first part
U wouldn't understand the depth and impact of this scene unless u watch the whole movie from the beginning.u will see this particular scene in a different view if u watch it from the beginning.
This movie still running in theaters from 1995. If you search it still shows the show times...I have seen umpteen times and still want to see this movie again.
Rajani sir means respect...total respect...
Yes truly badass. This is an old movie so you can't expect good camera quality or edit effects. But the movie is quite good and a blockbuster in the 90s. The dialogues used here are legendary and quite famous in India since forever. This movie is a worth a watch! Hint: here he is under the guise of a taxi driver. But his history is not, well you can see his henchmen support him during the fight though...:P
1995
What a tempting to watch synopsis 👌
It is actually Rajani's version of remake of Hum where he acted as the Police Brother. Basha is personal favourite of Rajani too.
Not taxi auto
Yes, it's the interval. As you said, he gets beaten because he is in disguise as an auto-rickshaw driver. In the next scene, he is forced to reveal his true identity as a Don. That's why they kiss the back of his hand. All the auto-rickshaw drivers were with him, when he was a Don. All of them are in disguise now. Even his cop brother doesn't know that the Don and his brother is the same person.
India's best one of the best Don subject. Huge Hit. Now this movie screening every Rajinikanth Birthday House full shows all theaters.
Baasha is mother of all gangster movies released in South India.... One of the biggest blockbuster movies in Super Star cinema career..... It's a big hit in Japan too..... The BGM is extraordinary.... Overall a wonderful movie to watch at anytime.....
One of the best movie from #Rajni Sir
*SUPER STAR*
THALAIVAR..
Baasha of this Era .
*Rajini sir* 🔥❤😎🙏💥🤘😍😎❤🔥❤👌
THis is a transformation scene. Without knowing the back story, this fight would look normal
The last dialogue, he speaks is, "If I say once, it's like I've said it a hundred times." It was a very iconic dialogue that people still keep repeating. It's like the dialogues, "I'll be back." or "I'll make an offer he/you can't refuse," etc. Or any other such dialogue
This is a cult classic in Indian cinema and a game changer for non linear narrative plots in India.
This picture was remastered and released last year. You should watch theater response for the same available in youtube. This sequence is considered one of the epic Interval bang in Indian history. Spoiler. The BGM is of Terminator.
this got released in 1994, one of the best movies of Rajinikanth.
95
This was very satisfying, and the salutation kisses on the hand fed my desire for overt displays of badassery/power, but those poor vendors tho. Who's gonna pay for all this? I feel like this happens often. Is there like a group insurance fund or smth? 😦
One and only evergreen SuperStar
Only one and super one
The dialogue he says after he beats up the goon who is tied the pole. “The next time I see you.. I will cremate you”.. The follow up dialogue is the catchphrase that the Baasha character uses through out the movie.. “When I say something once, consider it’s said 100times.”
If nothing else, I love the way you pronounce Rajnikanth's name. You add 5 extra syllables and it sounds so nice.
This is the mother of gangster films in South India. Movies like Vedalam, Theri, etc take lot of inspiration from Baasha.
Rajnikant maintains low-key all through the film until this fight. He goes out of the way to avoid any confrontation despite severe provocation. In an earlier scene the same villain ties Rajnikant to the same pole and beats him - but Rajnikant takes everything and keeps quite. So a tremendous energy is built and in this fight scene it explodes for the viewers. It is a bit unfair on wtfaiwpodcast to appreciate because you are just watching the fight.
One and only indian super star
Only one super one...
You guys are more closer to the story than most people who watch this without knowing the background or watch it without subtitles. Important parts you don't know about the background, Rajani's brother when he got in trouble with the gangster, he was only a Police Recruit, not full fledged cop. Only after Rajani gets beat up by the Gangster, does the brother become a real cop, and immediately - the first thing he does after becoming a cop is to put this guy in Jail. This guy comes back after a day in Jail, and says "Hey man, Prison is like cottage country for me, in and out like a vacation home, but now I have your sister, what are you going to do if I rape her in front of you and your mom?" And, the fight begins. The other part is the plot of the entire movie... Rajani is portrayed as this weakling that doesn't want to fight and wants to runaway from fights... but in reality he has a past. This past is where he is this Mega-Don that ruled all of Bombay/Mumbai... after that ruckus... he leaves and wants to live a simpler life. But, problem is that he moves into this Shady neighborhood.... etc. etc.
The greatest superstar of Indian cinema. Rajinikanth. He is still acting at 70 years old the same as in 1995
It's a 1995 movie. 20 plus years since it released. When it came out, it was huge. And yes, end of that fight is when they reveal Rajnikanth's character was a badass gangster... There's a flashback post that...
Mass Thalaivar #Rajnikanth scene 😍😘😎
actually the hero Rajnikant was a don in Mumbai, and changed his life for the family .
if you watch the whole movie you will enjoy the movie
The last dialogue that he told "Na oru thadave sonna nooru thadave sonna madhiri" means
when i say it one time its like i m saying for hundred times. so beware of me

This movie has some Evergreen dialogues in Indian cinema history! You should definitely watch this movie. It was a Super Hit film across all India, Japan, etc.
You all won't understand the context behind this fight, this fight is where the whole plot shifts for everyone watching the movie and for the characters related to Rajnikant in the film.
And Obviously because movie is an old one it has editing style from those times but story and action wise you guys will love it.
This movie one year full on theaters best movie
Rajni big fan of Kerala basha evergreen move super star Rajni than indea
One of the best fight by superstar
You guys are right on..on the guessing about the scene
The hero was a gangster in the past. After his father's death, he leaves the underworld and goes to another place with his family and his henchmen. There he and his henchmen work as auto drivers for living. Neither his brother nor sister know that their elder brother was a gangster. Only his mother knows ( step mother actually, and brother & sister are her children). The villain in this scene has no idea who he is dealing with. The flashback is revealed after this fight scene. And The badass dialogue is "If I say one time, it is equal to saying it a hundred times". Actually says that he says anything only once, the listener must listen to him at that point only.

Tamil in particular
India's biggest superstar 🔥🔥
Guys pls increase ur video volume.... So that we can also enjoy along with u...
The last punch dialogue is famous that is IF I SAY ONE TIME IT'S LIKE 100 TIMES
This movie has little similarities to Hindi movie HUM :) Actually a scene developed into a whole movie. LOL :) Those boxers shorts are called Patta patti drawer in Tamil Nadu state.. It's quite common in villages .! Last dialogues translates to : If I see you again , I'll burry you where I saw you . If I say it one time , it's like me saying it 100 times" :) It got released like two decades before.. & people still like this movie :)
You really need to watch previous scenes to get the real juice out of this scene .. as Rajini always tries to stay away from all fights and quarrels and makes us feel ."gosh... when is he gonna get angry "
padayapa movie scene reaction
