Be really neat to hang out with you for a day and learn about minerals I know nothing about. Amazing adventure you shared Greig. Glad to see you in good spirits and sharing your passion with us. 💪😆👊🇺🇸⚒️⚒️⚒️⚒️⚒️⚒️⚒️

Fantastic adventure and area sweet finds some beauties and the two dogs 💗 thanks for the ride and adventure
looked like a fun time !!!!
It was a long drive but worthwhile. It sure is nice to get out in the fall without any bugs or a heat wave
@@meMiner No Heat No Bugs = Win !!!! LOL
Good to see both doggies and you! Hope you are well.
My chocolate does the same thing always wants to stay in in middle of everything doing.

That is a pile of treasure!
Just missed you by a couple weekends. The new piles there are crazy. Great finds!
It was so much fun. Next time, I would go when it is raining which would clean some of the recently exposed rock and make the blues and blacks really shine
@@meMiner we got lucky, there was a light rain that morning and it made the amazonite really show in the tailing piles!
I have never been able to train my dogs to stay close. Good for you!
Sometimes too close and they sit in the hole I am digging. lol
heading there this weekend for the first time!
Beautiful area

awaiting with bated breath meminer
me too. lol. Hope you enjoy
Outstanding rockhounding adventure at the Beryl Pit 💯👌💯
- I made a discovery of greenish Beryl on the side of a mountain. And a discovery of a bluish Beryl on the other side. What is the reason for the color difference?
Thank you for sharing Greig 💯👍💯
Impurities in the beryl create different colours. For example, green is from either impurities of iron or chromium
@@meMiner Thank you 👍
Great finds! Did you say that the berl pits near Quadsville? I wanna go😊
Yes 😁
@@meMiner you guys got first dibs, the Scarborough rock and mineral club is going this Saturday. I’m not able to do anything on Saturdays as I’m self-employed in the food business . I may trek up there Monday or Tuesday.🍁
Some very nice specimens coming out of there!
What is the closest city near there if you don't mind me asking?
Thanks for sharing! 👍🏻🇨🇦
It is north of Bancroft or 3 hours from Toronto
@@meMiner thank you!
The ?peristerite? I think l you called it looks pretty. Will it tumble? Or is it too fractured? I bet if it can tumble it would look stunning!
Like any feldspar, it can be tumbled but it is probably best to make a cabochon.. They polish nicely, but are best cut on the same plane which has the flash of colour
Thanks. Love this video
weird circle thing in the rock... 6:08 ..
96 in an 80!!! Tsk tsk tsk… 😂
And still I was getting passed. lol
