    Love the Huxwrx flow 7.62 TI. Huge improvement over the previous models. Performs well on 5.56 and 300 blackout subsonic rounds. PewScience has great write up on it as well. Worth the money!

    I've been wanting a can to run on my 5.56 guns for a while, after seeing Jay's numbers and all of these reviews...I might be getting the Flow 762 Ti. Hell, I might even try it on my Vepr AK...I just need to check the alignment and make sure its concentrically threaded. Only way I know to check this is with an actual suppressor, so worst care scenario I just got myself a new muzzle brake/flash hider for my AK 😂

    Man, you guys should check out Griffins cans. They have cracked the code on reduced backpressure, sound reduction, and flash reduction. Their new M4SD-L is freaking amazing. That tech is being carried over to all their new lines. Their absolutely HARD use HRT7 is amazing. They also have invested in a B&k sound setup. Which involved world renowned sound scientists coming out to help them set it up. They are the only other place besides pew which offer pressure wave form tests and AHAAH data. Except theirs is raw data and not gatekeeped behind a paywall and an ambiguous rating system.

    "No surprise that the Polonium is quieter if you pay attention to PEWScience"
    Uhhhhhh the Polonium has a pretty bad at-ear rating. Like, even lower than the Sandman-S tested on 5.56.

    • @jakebennett4140
      @jakebennett4140 Год назад +1

      Right, but compare the Polonium to both sets of Maxim DSX data. No tuning, they were close at both ear and muzzle. The tuned SURG with a more restrictive gas port made the ear rating fly up.

    • @TheSugarWeasel93
      @TheSugarWeasel93 Год назад

      They ran it on a tuned host, pew uses an untuned host. The review he did recently with the Maxim shows that a tuned host with a hugh back pressure silencer can be quieter than a untuned host with a flow through.

    Awesome video! Been trying to decide if I should bite the bullet and get either a Flow 556k or 762Ti for my untuned 14.5” BCM, or just get an adjustable gas block and new buffer and spring and go for a polonium K. Would you say the sound at the muzzle for all 3 would be comparable? And can you tune the polonium K to be way less gassy and have reasonable sound at the shooter’s ear?

    • @modernwarriorsut
      @modernwarriorsut  Год назад +1

      The polonium was quieter for sure, but the one we shot was the full size not the k. That being said, to get it to not be gassy, Chris had to do a fair amount of work tuning the gun. Now that its tuned up its quite pleasant, but, its still more gassy than either of the flows.

    • @JGO219
      @JGO219 Год назад

      @@modernwarriorsut would you be willing to share what kind of tuning was done? was there anything more than changing buffer spring & weights (or maybe changing to an A5 buffer system) and adding an adjustable gas block, and possibly using an adjustable bcg (bootleg)? thanks!

      @modernwarriorsut  Год назад

      @@JGO219 With this suppressor we didn't change anything about how the guns were set up before running it. Thats one big advantage of these suppressors is you really dont have to do much to get the guns to run well with them.

    • @modernwarriorsut

      you will have to use a muzzle device by Huxwrx to do it. If im not mistaken, the zpap has M26x1.5 LH thread pattern, and Huxwrx does make an adapter for that thread pattern

  • @JohnZ556
    @JohnZ556 Год назад

    I don't believe Sandman S is a direct comparison to the flow 762 ti. Sandman is a cobalt alloy can with thick stainless outer walls, you are more likely to kill the gun before wear it out. While flow762ti will likely need some significant cool down in very few 'full semi' mags to prevent major sparking and accelerated erosion(mind you, only 10k-20k rds lifespan on their 17-4 cored cans).
