Well answer this... Why do you think that 3 digit counter on the top right of the screen is constantly counting down in its games? That's NOT gameplay time. That's the time YOU have to finish the level or you lose a life and next thing you know... GAME OVER.
Late, but i think it's meant to represent how you're nearing the end of your journey, since almost every Castlevania game has a Clock Tower level before the endgame.
@@CB-L You can get luck boosting spell before that portrait and char also got moon brooch which boost her luck a lot, so you can easily grind from him.
@@hardnewstakenharder while playing the game, this theme fits perfectly as it introduces you to the clock tower. There is the first part where you only have flipping platforms and it hypes you up while you're going into the tower.
