Whites don’t think slavery was racist, they don’t think segregation was racist, they don’t think lynchings were racist, they don’t think redlining was racist, they don’t think Jim Crow laws were racist,and they don’t think cops shooting and killing unarmed black people are racist.
To them, nothing that whites do to black people is racist.
A lot of successful people don’t really have a victimhood lifestyle and mentality but they think they have to act like they do to identity with their supporters. This guy isn’t scared when he goes out in public but he will tell you he is.

@Rush Blue yes absolutely, you need to be skilled in the job you're applying for. Where does that translate into knowing all and being better than anyone? How often do you ever hear someone speaking as the guy above did? It's just fluff that people use to try to seem "better than". People are hired based on degrees theyve attained at trade schools all the time, and they don't walk around injecting race into stuff. Thats some university brainwashing coming out.

However 7% of the population owned slaves. 5% of that was in the democrat south. Im not cherry picking anything, you're simply looking at the country through an all negative lense. Half of the world doesn't want to live here because of slavery 200 years ago or raycissms that democrats exacerbated up until 60 years ago. At one point college was exactly what it needed to be. Then it started tilting absolutely liberal, now kids are coming out dumber than they went in and repeating things like "America was founded on raycissm" all while also saying "all immigrants deserve to be let in". Without loose ever changing morality liberals wouldn't have any morals at all.

@@9thwonderboy here's the thing: the bible was in Africa taught by Africans. Ethiopian to be precise. They knew that verse and yet still they sold other Africans to Europe, Asia, America and Africa. Slavery was around well before the West was even thought of and Africa was the main supplier. However the verse is about salvation, which I was speaking to.
@@9thwonderboy it literally says "slave" in the passage. It doesn't say anything about equal treatment only that everyone is one in christ in spite of their socio-economic status. This passage was written at a time when owning slaves was normal. People forget (or just don't know) that slavery was a common thing back in time. Slavery wasn't invented by europeans

It's sad cuz they're both right, but I think Jesse is more right. Reason why the pastor figures he should vote democrat is because he thinks republicans are racist and xenophobic. Reason why Jesse is republican is because democrats have completely turned from God and Christianity. So the line between the two is how much do they care about Christianity vs fighting Racism. The pastor's argument is that the racism is so bad that it takes precedence over Christiantiy.
Some areas still have "barriers" for blacks, but they're mostly gone. While some republicans are racist (because they think blacks are racist), it's a bug not a feature. But democrats want you to think it's a feature. Republicans know it's bullshit because Republicans are usually religious, and religious people tend not to be as racist. The reason democrats do this are because they cater to emotional reasoning. They want you to care for the victim, but sometimes the victim is a priveleged black man in 2020 who believes he's enslaved by white politicians.

That's the nice thing about living today, most people aren't slaves in the traditional sense. He was never a slave, just as I was never a slave.
If you want to say that having ancestors that were slaves makes you special, you're ignorant of history. The fact that he uses the word slave indicates he has no awareness why we call forced labor slavery. White Eastern European Slavs were used as forced labor for over 1,000 years, so frequently their ethnicity became synonymous with it.
I found this one really interesting, the chap was genuine and not just a brainwashed lefty, good discussion and back and forth with Jesse. Black powa on this one!
