I've seen reviews of a few MJX cars, and one of the most positive things about the company, is that they listen to the feedback from customers and RUclipsrs, and actually make sensible changes. One of their first cars had an app with live telemetry you could use, but seemed to be completely pointless. Their next car didn't have the telemetry, but you could buy the module, if you wanted it. It would now appear that no one was bothered by it, and you don't get the choice. That has made the cars cheaper. A great choice from them. Personally, I love these "cheap" cars. They're easy to throw in a bag, and take out. I'm also not sure about the off road ability, and would only use it on billiard smooth dirt?! 🤷🏻♂️ A great street basher. 😎👍🏻
Despite their shipping issues recently, I've found rlaarlo to be like that too. And also arrma, I've had numerous discussions with them while the Kraton V2 and V3 were in development. Love a responsive company! Cheers
II have watched other videos on this car and it's running mate. the rally car. The other reviewer treated it as a basher and took to a skate park, which was very much like the place you took your Fazer. He also took it to a BMX track and jumped it. What I like about your review was the thoroughness and evaluation. I think the MJX cars in general are impressive for their durability. This car is too and you get a lot for your money. Associated makes a 14th scale Hoontruck and it's on sale right now for $200 and it's a brushed system. I enjoyed your perspective. It will help people who are thinking about buying one. You've done another great review.
It wasn't cheap for a small car. But once you start considering what you get and how it's built, like you, I think the value is there. Great little thing!
Excellent and thorough review! wish I would of got the extra springs with mine LOL, must of got an earlier model! I do really like this though! i like my gyro turned down between 10-20%. Definetly not a car for grass. I think it does pretty well on hard packed gravel roads, in which i prefer the rally Ish on road blocked tires over the knobby off road ones. maybe on the looser gravel the off road ones shine. great video my Friend! yYou covered it all very well !
Thanks, I have yet to turn the gyro down and also to look into improving the suspension a bit further. It still could be better than it is, especially cornering, I feel. We'll see!
I've shown it on the channel in other cars too, but it doesn't have to be this way. I comment on it in the hope such things aren't acceptable in future. One can hope!
@RCTNT At least it does has a separate receiver so can change it out to a better one. There is always going to be something that needs to be better on a rtr. No mater what brand it is or how much pay for it.
There are upgrades and then there are fixes needed for basic use. I think this setup is good enough as it is. Likewise I haven't upgraded my Infraction at all and that thing is just fun every time. It wasn't cheap though, so not the best example. My rlaarlo ak917 needed a fix for the antenna, but they've done that at the factory since the first batch went out, so there's a cheaper car that doesn't really need anything out of the box, as long as it's all working when you get it. Cheaper cars are getting better and better. With the Hyper Go here, I like that the parts are all discrete on this thing. It's good value and leaves room to improve too. Very good.
This seems like a much better option then the Felon and its a really rad lil size too! Might be the only Chinese Rc I end up getting :) This thing looks truly legit. Id get it for drifting, probably at skate parks
I’d be interested to see your take oh the hobbyplus cr18p or Evo 1/18 crawlers. Just make sure to get the metal gear upgrade. It would round off the blazer gs trx4m… and Capra I guess lol. But I also totally understand if it’s not something on the radar or in the cards.
@RCTNT thanks a lot for replying. but for someone who doesn't want to spend that much of amount of Infraction. Will the person be happy with the speed, stability and performance offered by MJX hypergo 14301? Pls advice
Sure, for the money this car is fantastic. I think you'll be happy with it, yes. Don't forget, there are middle options here too, you don't have to go to the full infraction: www.associatedelectrics.com/teamassociated/cars_and_trucks/Apex2/Hoonicorn_RTR/ www.arrma-rc.com/en/product/1-8-infraction-4x4-3s-blx-4wd-all-road-street-bash-resto-mod-truck-rtr-gold/ARA4315V3T1.html www.hpiracing.com/en/kit/150310 kyoshoamerica.com/newitem/1-10-scale-rc-ep-4wd-fazer-mk2-fz02l-ve-series-readyset-1970-chevyr-cheveller-supercharged-ve-dark-blue-34494t1.html
@RC-TNT Hi Craig.Hope you are doing well Sorry if you are reading same comment again as I have posted twice in different videos in order to get response from you. You helped me with selection between Infraction vs Mjx 14301. But my LHS now confused me with recommending Felony Please help and suggest Felony looks so awesome and tempting but has rear tires and different differentials whereas Infraction is same platform all rounder with okish looks. Please help whether I should go with Felony or infraction
While I wouldn’t call it cheap, an scx24 +wheels and tires+ servo+ motor and anything you need to make it decent is already a more. Both will need a proper charger anyway too.
For sure. The question isn't whether it's something everyone can buy, but rather, if you have $x in your pocket, how far will that go on this versus other cars of interest.
Since you already have Arrma infraction and MJX hypergo 14301 Kindly suggest which one to go for? Will I be able to enjoy the top speed with MJX hypergo when compared to Arrma infraction. As infraction cost 4 to 5 times cost of MJX 14301. Kindly recommend which kne to buy for absolute enjoyment and top speed
Arrma Infraction every time. There's no comparison. Except in value for money - the MJX wins there. It's a great little car. But if you want the best speed, stability at speed, potential for more speed, then yes, infraction or limitless are the only decent choice.
@RCTNT thanks a lot for replying. but for someone who doesn't want to spend that much of amount of Infraction. Will the person be happy with the speed, stability and performance offered by MJX hypergo 14301? Pls advice
I wrote a lengthy reply to this, 24 hours ago. It's gone!? D'oh! It had links and everything. Oh well. Yes, for the money, this little car is excellent. Don't forget there's also the HPI Quantum muscle car, the Associated Hoonigan, the 1/8 Arrma Infraction and the Kyosho Fazer brushless edition. All worthy considerations between the two we've discussed. Cheers
Could be so many things. Check these: - check the end point for throttle on your radio is at 100% (if the radio has this - can't recall and can't check right now) - charge the battery - try a different battery - check the 3 motor wires are connected fully - check the esc radio plug is fully in - calibrate the esc and radio if the above doesn't work (there'll be a way, but it needs to be googled as I don't know off the top of my head) If you legitimately try all these things and it's still not driving, it could be the motor, esc or radio system has a fault.

I'm sure this thing would handle all that but it's happiest on bitumen. Thanks :)
Interesting little truck. It's not my usual interest but it sure is cool. Seems to be a lot of features in a small package. Thanks for sharing!
Happy to share this one. It is fun, despite being not really my thing either. I like this car.
Pretty great to see you do the same excellent review on something that’s a departure from the channel norm. I expected nothing less.
Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks
Absolutely love mine. Not cheap but the build is really impressive .
It wasn't cheap for a small car. But once you start considering what you get and how it's built, like you, I think the value is there. Great little thing!
What a great video. That's all I wanted to say. Well, everyone rip them RC'S and don't let off the throttle!!!!!!😊
Haha righto thank you
Nice job, I have been thinking of getting one of these on my channel. Your observations are going to be very helpful, thank you 🙃
Awesome, thank you! Glad it was helpful

The delay is there in the transmitter and receivers with a lot of the ready to run rigs.

@RCTNT I can't leave anything stock and run it. Every rc I own has mods and upgrades. I have a infraction v2 that is on its way to being upgraded.
Lol I get you. But once you have 100+ vehicles, that ever-present drive to mod things becomes more strategic!
This seems like a much better option then the Felon and its a really rad lil size too! Might be the only Chinese Rc I end up getting :) This thing looks truly legit. Id get it for drifting, probably at skate parks
I think it'll take that sort of abuse alright, too.
@@RCTNT I wouldnt ramp it and catch air, but use the banks on the jumps for the sweet drifts :)
You can launch anything!
...once

Ah yes, the CR18P is on my 'likely' list. Not yet definite, but likely I'll get to it. The van is cool :)
Nice.!!! 👍 👍 👍
I think we need a redeeming video with a better controller! Has your GT5 a spare receiver?
So many radios here, haha. Got a series coming soon on cheap and premium sets. Surely one will work here, yeah!
@RCTNT thanks a lot for replying.

No need to @ me, nor post twice. I see all comments thanks to RUclips studio, even replies. Cheers

I love this little car. Cheap fast, radio is garbage.
Haha nice summary! That's about right!
Since you already have Arrma infraction and MJX hypergo 14301

mine doesnt move forward. only steers. didnt do anything out of the ordinary with it. any clue?

I said that to my wife the other day but first.😊😊😂😂😂😂
