- Welcome and happy Sunday. Today, I'm playing with the Bloom Technique on some 4x4 Tiles/Coasters. This acrylic pouring technique is very fun, does require great color choices and most importantly, Australian Floetrol. I hope you enjoy this Bloom Tutorial video.

I love that you showed your mistake, teacher!!! Not just For beginners but channeling beginners as well😘👼
Oh thank you!
Thank you so much for including problems you come across too - it makes you appear ‘normal,’ - like us! There are so so many things to remember to do when creating this type of art…..
So true! Thank u 😊
Love those colors!
Thank u ☺️
Very beautiful set of coasters. This color arrangement has a striking effect. I want to try some techniques with this color scheme. Losing your coaster added a little fun to your video.
Thank you so much! 😀
Hi brian, your coasters are so skinny and beautiful colours.
Good luck with the fair I'm sure you'll be a sell out!!👏💙🌈
Thank you, Janet :)
Gorgeous Brian!! Sorry I missed it!! 💙💙
Thank you very much. :)
Brian these turned out gorgeous!! I yelled right along with you when that first one went flying but you recovered beautifully my friend! Much love, Treesie💐🤗💐
I believe we all gasped and yelled when it went airborne. LOL! Excellent recovery!! 😉
😵💫😳😫 my first video of yours and I 😂. New subscriber. It was great to have some fun 🥳 thanks
Thank u and welcome 🤗
Thank you so much for showing not only your successes but also your fails! Sometimes these videos make the artists look perfect. But I guess all the failures lead to success. Your work is awesome. Thank you for sharing! 🎉😊❤
Thank u so much Dee. I want people to learn from the good and bad of my art. Lol
Huge S/O to u!!! I just finally got my first bottle of Aussie Floetrol. I've been trying my first attempts at blooms and was not getting near what i was expecting. I cleaned up for the night and came across this video and noticed how u were blowing and had way more layers. I immediately went to try another and it worked! Not perfect like urs but way better than the previous. I'll keep practicing. Thanks again and keep making ur wonderful content
That's great news you got it to work. Keep trying and you learn little tips along the way Thank you 🤗🤗
Brian the colors are so pretty. Yea I had a canvas that flew off the spinner which is a weird feeling.
Thank you :)
Brian this actual video premiere was amazing. Very good job & pourings my friend👍🏻⭐️⭐️⭐️🙂
Thank you so much, Friedo. :)
Awesome colors! Coasters are fabulous!! 😊
Thank you, Rose :)
Forgot to mention...loved that you showed the tile spinning off without a paint base. I would not have known.
Mistakes are fun lol
Absolutely beautiful!! Love them!!!
Thank u ☺️
very very pretty! I totally felt that first spin when it went off the spinner... the worst lol! great job
thank you, Ami. Yea that was a brain fart for sure. LOL
Oh my gosh Brian! This set of coasters are fabulous. The colors are incredibly gorgeous. Super job. Love them Is the base coat poly min wax mixed with house paint? What ratios?
Thank u Joalla. No, the base coat is Ppg multi pro Eggshell from Home Depot. Used right out of the can.
what kind of spinner are you using? Coasters are beautiful.
Thank u. I got it off Amazon
well done sir. may I ask what you sold that group for? thanks for posting!
Thank you so much. Oh gosh, that sold a long time ago. I can tell you now that I sell my coasters for $12 for a single or $42.
What do you use to seal them? I've tried Makers Magic, but the brush strokes are visible and it is not as shiny.
@@rebeccabroughton9672 I only use resin in my tiles and coasters.
Is cell activator the same as silicone?
No, silicone is an additive that you can add to your paints or or directly to a wet paint already on your substrate that will make cells. A cell activator, which i use is Australian Floetrol and Amsterdam paints. I don't use silicone. The cleaning needed before varnishing or applying resin I think is a huge paint in the butt.
