You can definitely do this Sharon. Consistency is a must but all techniques can be learned. We were all newbies at one point. I was so frustrated and angry I put all of my paint to away for over a year. I stamped my head with a giant L for looser and decided fluid art was not for me. Keep pushing forward. You got this. Thanks for talking throughout. Especially what you're doing with the paint. The final wet product is wonderful. The cells really aren't visible from a distance but when you brought tge camera down I was excited to see the beautiful blue/magenta bubbles in lovely communities gathering together. Hoping to see tge dry painting. Wondering how expanded the details become. Wet, it's stunning! Thanks again. P.s. you're a very good public speaker!!

Hi Barbara, many thanks. This piece was from quite some time ago so I don't have any photos to share now. My pieces generally dry the same as they are wet. I keep most of my paint quite thick to maintain cell structure and any modification lines that I make.. Big apologies for taking such a long time to respond back to you. I have been on grandma duty for the last few weeks. 😀. Cindy

Hi Chanda..you can by pass the polyurethane.. lately I've been adding approx 25 % of my pouring medium to my base paint and it seems to be holding shape quite well. Cindy.
P.S. my recipes are always changing ..😀. ..

Not that I want you to change this - but what could happen if you spun it after your embellishments with the lines?

Hmmm, I have no idea but it could be worth a try. If I can find a lazy Susan at the thrift store I may just grab it and give it a try.. it's always fun to experiment.. 😀

Sorry my last message sent before I finished.I wanted to say that you did a great job and I really enjoyed your video. I do have one question. For your pillow paint you mentioned that you used one tablespoon of polyurethane. My question is what volume of pillow paint would you add a full tablespoon to. Thank you very much.

I re read that too after I posted it...what a ditz I thought..lol I went and grabbed the cup I mix in.. it was a 16 oz cup.. i filled it approx 1c paint, 1/4 cup pouring medium and approx a tbsp of polyurethane. The polyurethane makes it quite sticky so I add water to thin necessary.

Its a minwax product Antoinette.. it goes on before wood stain to treat or condition the wood before you would apply stain. For cell mix it helps create cells...
