Yeah man! This is where fun starts! The "chewing" sound reminded me of the good old days when I have to maintain such kind of machinery.😢
After binge watching videos on how they use to do iron, I must say the modern practice really got the life knocked out of it. So simple and uninspired it resembles boys playing with trucks in a sandbox. I bet no one even gets hurt anymore. Romance is dead.

Once I worked at Quintette Coal MInes in Norther BC. They were taking the top off a mountain, and the crusher was at the top of the conveyor run. As such, it was often in the clouds. What was amazing was to hear the beeping of the trucks as they backed in, and then the sky would go black, as they raised the dumpers - it blocked out the sky completely. Quite awesome setup there.

If you took that statement at face value, basically you wouldn't really notice anything for a really long time, and when you did, it wouldn't be terrible right away. That's a lot of time to find a way out.

Somehow I thought the pestle part would be moving more. My FIL designed one of these for the Benson Mines in Star Lake NY. It was in a building and according to my husband the noise and vibration were enhanced compared to this open air operation.
Depending on the size of crusher run required, this can be adjusted.

Руда прочная и абразивная. В ней попадаются ещё более прочные камни. Обычный материал - марганцевые стали "сталь Гадфильда", упрочняющиеся от деформации. Бывают более сложные варианты с включениями кристаллов карбида хрома и др.

In this thing you still do have a chance to survive. Given there is not a load of rocks coming after you. You only have to take care to not get towards the pinching area. Set your feet against the cone, back against the outside, wobble and walk along on the cone. Meanwhile try to climb on top of it. But sure, it would not be a nice situation 🙈

Hello!! What are the sparks in the center of the crusher?
That happens when iron ore hit the metal reinforced plates of the crusher, just metal on metal contact at really high speed think that some of the rocks you see are the size of a medium car falling from a two/three floor high

Дробилка крупного дробления. Измельчает добытую в карьере руду до фракции 800мм. Затем следует среднее и мелкое дробление до 15мм. А потом мелкую руду перетирают в мельницах в пыль, промывают и различными методами отделяют металл от пустой породы, получая концентрат. Его в плавильных печах переводят в жидкую фазу с окислением, на выходе - сплав металла, их которого можно отливать заготовки для дальнейшей прокатки. Всё это действо одним словом - металлургия.
