Instead of bucket touching strait to the hopper wall, you should install a scrapper plate to the bucket with springs between bucket and the scapper plate.
This way the hopper wall will not be damaged because the springs will work as buffer .

en definitiva el que deberia de abandonar su puesto de trabajo por que la parada de la maquina genero la parada de toda la planta deberia de ser el encargado por no adecuar las herramientas necesarias a los operarios y poder estar usando la otra parte de la tolva para descargar

I think operator did a great job. Tear the tiles off, and you get fired or lose pay.

@@grumpyg9350 a competent operator would of done this in less than half the time than this operator did this !
Even turning his machine in the yard was a hash job too....

To be fair to the operator he was doing this mostly by feel..
If you notice he cannot see much down at the crusher end.
If he speeds up he may damage the tiles..

It might be a easier to do the job if the bucket on the excavator was flipped around to point away from the machine. Not sure how easy that is to set up without a quick connector on that machine in the field though. Thank you for the videos.

This is a stone crusher not a dirt crusher, the loads should be screened before it goes in the crusher, more than half of the load shouldn't be going in there just the stones, waste of time.

You'd think there would be a vibrator built intot he hopper to prevent build up like that, or at least a specialized attachment instead of a bucket.

that is a lot of buildup. was this partially due to 1 or more rainstorms that increased humidity and promoted this fine material to stick together (or wet ore being dumped in from outside) ?

I have to say, I am impressed by how quiet this machine is. Usually all the equipment in this part of the world is clapped out to shit. This one is actually tight. The operator is slow as shit, but the machine is nice.

how about lining the chute with a thick metal plate mounted on springs with vibrators attached
to avoid all this careful slow maneuvering you praise this operator for
silk touching tiles that gets huge boulders dropped on them every day
all time spent not processing ore is profit-consuming

But slow operation of excavator is used to resist or decrease from damaging of hopper liner plate.

There should be large chains hanging down the hopper sides that can be moved side to side once a day to keep that hopper clean.
That crane can be used to lift them up no more than 3 links to break the hard pan loose.
Also either leave the water on continually to wash the hopper clean or leave it off so as not to make mud.
To many people standing around doing nothing, Start getting that machinery cleaned up, or get fired.

That short arm excavator just ain't doing the trick... They need what is called a "LONG STICK" excavator with a articulating bucket head to do this job properly

  • @james5360
    @james5360 Год назад +1

You need a grade all machine with a 6 foot wide 2 for high blade that you can rotate 360 degrees to efficiently clean the hopper sides. Would be a lot quicker and a direct reach instead of articulated.

This build up would be prevented if they didn't use the misting spray. Job security i guess

    • @kiwimaori5918

either that or use heaps more water. Wash the hopper down when build up starts.
