I absolutely love John. In my opinion he is the most fascinating, authentic and captivating singer in musical history. An honest man with a heart of gold. He truly is a gift from God. ❤❤
I had the meet and greet with John (VIP)on Saturday May 25 th 2024 at Walsall Arena. To have a few private moments with John was well worth the money. Euch a genuine guy. Signed various items for me. I also bought one if his prints of his own art as a limited edition. It was a wonderul, insightful show. If you like John, go book a ticket and see him. Complete legend.
John is genuine, he outs the hypocrisy in fake people and embraces the authenticity of the genuine person. He’s always had the gift to search out the fake and destroy it. He’s one of the few people of our generation left that hasn’t become another one of the sheeple. ❤I’m glad is around and naturally keeping it real . I would have loved to have seen the whole spectacle in my town (Royston , Glasgow, or any other Scottish town)😅.🎉 He deserves to be celebrated a little bit, and to know that he is one of the greats of our times and we are proud of him 🎉 nice one John 🎉.
I so wish I booked some tickets now after watching this, I live a couple of miles away from Dorking. Anyway good to see the people who were there. Cheers and respect to the legend.
Hi 👋 im viewing from New Zealand. I had the pleasure of seeing John Lydon fronting Public Image Ltd in the 1980s. Good fun i had. I like the newspaper article with New Zealand printed on it in big letters . She is right too , John is a legend. From Carl.
Im 58, Dorking is where I was born and spent the first 11 years of my life. My brother brought home Never Mind the Bollox and I was hooked. Then the family moved up to South London from 1977 onwards
Saw him a few days ago, and it was a great night, confirmed everything I already thought about him, a very honest and erudite man, he speaks with great wit and humour, he spoke from the heart, about a wide variety of subject matter, my respect for him only grows.
Had a meet and greet in Huddersfield, signed my pistols album, put ' to Beverley and Allan',my late sister and father who had a connection with my album, can't thank him enough, you have a lot of questions you'd have liked to ask, but as you're sitting next to him, you're in awe of the man,one of THE most iconic,Truthful, and charismatic musicians of this century!!!!!.... Thank you Mr Lyndon.. 👍👍😉
John is one of the last real true honest people in the music business and life . He does charity events for children and even donated his Sex Pistols memorabilia for an auction and proceeds went to an orphanage. John u love u hate him but you have to respect him.
Went to see him at Warwick theatre … he upset some of the audience with his comments. They walked out … on seeing this he told them to go back to their pottery class.. i😂
I saw him in Birmingham, thought he was fascinating. One of the most culturally significant figures of the last 100 years. For me he's up there with Orwell.
'Spokesman for a generation ' yes indeed, along with Strummer and Weller, you couldn't get better than those 3 if you grew up in the UK in 60s and 70s to now.
I saw Public image in 1983 in Brighton at The Top Rank Suite, first time PIL came to Brighton. I was at the front and so many Punks were gobbing at the band. John said 'look, stop fucking spitting or wel leave the stage and go home' They then played low life. John was pirouetting round and I gobbled at him, but unfortunately, he saw me. He stopped singing, staring straight at me, then pointed directly at me and sang the chorus.. 'LOWLIFE'. Everyone was looking at who he was pointing at. I felt 2 inches tall. Fucking embarrassing. But I deserved it.
We saw him Exeter, & he went down in my estimations, he was so right wing it was unbelievable, & was terrible to a member of the audience, with a tyraid of abuse that was totally unacceptable, very sad really as always enjoyed his music seen him live with PIL & he was excellent 🎶 but not on his spoken word tour 😢
Funny that because I was a mad punk fan but also loved Duran Duran in my youth .. and still do .. but I’m not a musical bigot and am eclectic.. I was even in a band with punk legend Rat Scabies .. so I’m not sure what point your comment was trying to make ..
Interesting character, unique point of view (sometimes he's right, other times it's nonsense) and undeniable music talent, but I wouldn't pay to see him.
Lives in USA, Brexiteer, Trump supporting hypocrite…. Love the pistols and first 2 PIL albums, and respect for what he did for punk.. wouldn’t pay to see him waffle on !!
He lives in America. Asked if he would vote for Trump he said - “I’d be daft as a brush not to. He’s the only sensible choice..." I'd rather pay to see Michael Macintyre.
Love him or hate him, he's honest, funny, very caring, loves his nature, has a heart of gold & says whats on most peoples minds. 👍🎵.
Exactly, he speaks the truth and has the biggest balls. Respect to the legend.

Was lucky to be invited backstage after a PiL gig and John was nothing but generous warm and funny out. A Legend
“Anger is an energy” ❤️🇬🇧❤️
Saw the talking show in Harpenden. Mr. Lydon performed a full.moon to the audience 😂❤
John has always been much more mature and ahead of his peers. And the lyrics of his songs speak too clearly. Thanks Johnny.

Im 58, Dorking is where I was born and spent the first 11 years of my life.
My brother brought home Never Mind the Bollox and I was hooked.

I saw John in Axminster. Humorous, warm and captivating. He was clearly missing his wife very much. Really great show, very glad we went.
Thanks for your comment 🙏

I saw him in Birmingham, thought he was fascinating. One of the most culturally significant figures of the last 100 years. For me he's up there with Orwell.

Personally, Crass spoke a bit more in the late 70's
100% agree.
Put clowns like Strummer and Weller in charge and you'd be fast tracked to Orwell's 1984 in no time.
Strummer was just a public school poseur slumming it
Ray Davies!!
FANTASTIC 🇬🇧. Hello Chad. 👋 and f Duran Duran 😊

ALWAYS AN INTERESTING CHARACTER.

Thanks for sharing 😮 I saw PiL in the 90s it was a great gig - please subscribe if you can to help this little channel out 🙏
I was supposed to go to that gig. Had a bit of a hectic time getting there and realised I’d forgotten my ticket. Gutted!
Jim who you interviewed seems like a really good bloke
Yes - Everyone was very kind to speak to me - thanks for watching 🙏
@@skyaazpodcast yes they were all cool
I’m so gutted .. I live not far from here and would have 100% gone!!
He is at East Grinstead this Wednesday 🙏
Power to Liddy!
All fair and respectful marvellous
Very humble and lovable people, too good as Lydon’s fans 😂
He canceled the US leg of the tour. My friend had tickets for one of the California shows. Hopefully he'll re-schedule the US leg.
Legend 👊
Mad how John would be considered far-right by the dominant media and the wokies these days.
Guess you didn’t like the last album 😐
He changed since the punk era, and for the better! I wonder whether he still hates hippies? 🌻
I’ll ask him 😮
@@skyaazpodcastCheers! ☮ That would be awesome! 👍☘🎵
Paying for a VIP experience - "turning rebellion into money"??
Duran Duran fans need not apply

Legend world ned to be made a sir
Interesting character, unique point of view (sometimes he's right, other times it's nonsense) and undeniable music talent, but I wouldn't pay to see him.
Thanks for your comment
I would
he would hate all this hoopla..
The opposite of sid
Lives in USA, Brexiteer, Trump supporting hypocrite….
Love the pistols and first 2 PIL albums, and respect for what he did for punk.. wouldn’t pay to see him waffle on !!
i was at his show tonight and it was just disgusting. dont pay..
He's a complete and utter arsewipe...
I love this man.he knew about todays fake lefties.but its only one good album.n m t bollocks.on all pil albums are mostly just one song ok .
The latest album is full of classics - have you heard it 🤫
Talented guy but alas just lijke everyone else, the only true punk is Ian Brown.
Thanks
He lives in America. Asked if he would vote for Trump he said - “I’d be daft as a brush not to. He’s the only sensible choice..."
I'd rather pay to see Michael Macintyre.
Wow, Macintyre? Now that is scraping the barrel!
Lydon is a Legend, MacIntyre is a BBC product, no contest.
Biden has destroyed America, yet when Trump was in, no going to war and the economy was on the up. You sound deluded!!
He's right though.
Johnny still has a house in SWLondon he lives in when he’s touring Europe
VIP / MEET & GREET ARE YOU SURE FFS A FOOL & THEIR MONEY AS THEY SAY
Why haven't they wrote any new music? John is prolific. They wrote nothing.
Without the genius of Matlock, Cook & Jones, He'd be nothing.
And without Lydon, they would not have had songs like Anarchy in the UK, God Save the Queen etc....
It's the other way round old chap.
Imagine anyone but Johnny fronting the Sex Pistols,it would be just another Rock band
Grow up 🥴
An excellent band but some of you are so gullible. Playing for the Queen's jubilee and doing reality shows?
exactly. hes now an establishment puppet. traitor
