You can look at it another way. This company likes the channel person that you watch well enough that theyd like them to represent their product 🤷♂️😊 and bring it to attention so that maybe some people can find a use for it
@@hrod9393 that’s just another way for saying the company wants more money. Says nothing about the actual quality of the product. They look at views, and think “oh we can make more money” that’s it.
I've played the previous gen live once, and it's awesome. No, it won't replace even the cheapest Martin or Taylor in a studio, but for live use, it sounds better than the majority of electric acoustics with stock pick-up systems.
Pretty much all the guitar youtubers I watch have done a video on this guitar, and I think all of them were sponsored; I don't think I've ever seen this guitar outside of a sponsored video I'm not saying it's a bad instrument, but the fact that it only makes an appearance when someone is being paid to use it it seems kind of suspicious
Maybe the industry is saturated by 5 major brands and they claimed a monopoly on brick and mortar dealers that most people buy from. Also, the used guitar market is huge...and this is a brand new product.
I like the learning aspect. I like the lil effects. I think this would be a great bedroom guitar to fiddle around with. But I think they should also offer an app with a bunch of these features that doesn’t need to be connected to the guitar.
I bought the 3rd gen Lava me’s 3 times and kept returning it for quality control issues. This was a year or more ago. I still get emails about the cyber security concerns requiring me to change my username and password. I really wanted the guitar to be good but ended up saving my pennys for a journey guitar and am very happy I did.
💯 percent! I was thinking this exact same thing. What I want to know is what other equipment he was using to layer everything up. Still, a very cool cover of that song.
Hey Tyler I hope your scar is healing nicely, I have a ton of scars on the back of my head from a dog attack and they are about 34 years old, my point is.. I didn't know I should be massaging the scar from sticking to the bone/muscle or skull underneath. So anytime I would put a hat on or rub them with any force they would feel like they were stretching and it was very painful. Just looking out for ya buddy 🤘 looks like it's healing nicely
I have the Lava golden hour carbon guitar, and I love it. It is a great travel guitar or campfire guitar. In no way does it replace my Taylors, but it is a fun guitar to play anywhere.
This reminds me of all the videos about the Spark amp when it first came out. You couldnt find a genuine, unbiased review because all of the videos were sponsored by the company that made the amp. This isn't a review, this is a paid advertisement.
With non sponsored videos was the actual sound disappointing. if you're looking for a good smart acoustic guitar, wouldnt the lag hyvibe series be a better option?
Friend, I wish I could buy one. unfortunately I can't, even though it would be gold on blue, as I have a disability in my left arm and a guitar like this, this size, would be a blessing. Currently, the only thing that relaxes me and brings me some peace is sitting down with my little 3/4 apprentice guitar, improvising a little to the sound of backing tracks on RUclips. But who knows if one day I could make this dream come true, who knows? hug from the Azores Portugal
Hey Tyler, 10 gage strings really feel good on those guitars. I have a lava me pro and the neck doesn't feel that good. So 10 gage strings works for me. Try it out!
I've got the one of these. Not the carbon fibre and I've had it for a little over a year. It's.great to noodle and use different effects without plugging in etc. I probably don't use it as much as I could and I don't always turn it on but play just acoustically. Still a great tool for writer block. And off hand I can't even remember what user name I used for the uploads/account but I'll try to look your stuff up. 😊
I’d like a good playing neck and a big, resonant sound when it comes to acoustic guitars. The iPad on the side, I could do without. Amps do everything nowadays.
Hey Tyler have you ever seen this Russian guitar RUclipsr name Dmitry Andrianov you should check him out and see any of his video . He’s Talented . He plays a lot of guitar so I recommend check him out .
It breaks so easily! Fell off the strap while teaching a song, to my students, came off tge strap(put it to the side to look at the students book)Expected a scratch but the body broke!
To answer your question, yes, there are many ‘bad sounds’ in that thing. I understand the whole sponsored video thing, but seriously? If this is the future of guitar, you can keep it
I was crazy about an older version of this and really wanted to get it, but then I started playing electric and all that interest went away. You don't need a bunch of mediocre sounding effects built into a pseudo-amp on your guitar. Like what can this thing achieve that a good acoustic with an amp can't? The only benefit of this thing is the portability. I'd rather pay that 500$ minimum for a nice electric guitar instead of this. At least said electric can last a lifetime, but this thing? Who knows how many years until the electronics of it are terribly outdated? Or how long until you ran into an issue? Who's gonna fix it? A luthier lmao? This guitar is for putting it in the corner of your room after having fun with it for 2 hours total. And then every once in a while when someone asks what kind of guitar that thing in the corner is you whip it out to impress them and return it to the dust afterwards. It's amazing, it's almost as if this guitar wasn't designed for actual guitarists haha. I used to think this was a guitar boomer opinion back when I wanted to get one abd thought people just hate "advancement" or want to stay '"traditional", but by now I fully understand. This thing is an overglorified toy.
Thanks. Just looking to go in another direction from a standard acoustic/electric. I turned 80 Sunday and I ain’t quite thru yet. I like the rhythms set in it and the various sounds are interesting. However, I still play my acoustics hard and this may be a tad delicate for this old rocker. Just toying with the idea of it. Appreciate your input.

You want a carbon fiber guitar, get an EMERALD.
Only the top model is carbon fiber. The rest are high pressure laminate (plywood)
You should try get your hands on an emerald guitar there made in Ireland absolutely amazing guitars 👌
Does it have a setting for a pre-war Martin? Didn't think so.
6:15 any brazilian thought of victor & leo tem que ser voce, if you dont know this song google it, it's great
