    I’m having 2 level ACDR on the 21st. I’m excited because it’s a long term issue we’re trying to correct but it’s so hard to find good information out there on a 2 level replacement since it’s considered relatively new here. I also have reverse curvature in my cervical spine. Anyway I’ve watched all your videos and I really appreciate the updates and tips. They are very helpful!

    I just want to take the time to thank you for making this video. I’m 15 months post op but still in pain that is different than the nerve pain I was accustomed to. I’ve been terrified that something was wrong it’s extremely comforting to know this tension pain is normal. Mine is severe so I’m forced back onto medication & I hate it

      I'm sorry you're still in pain. I don't want you to take my word for it. This is just what seemed to be happening to me. If you're still in pain that you feel isn't normal, check with your doctor, or try to find someone to help you figure it out. I hope you can get some relief.

    I feel the same way as you!! I feel like I want to forget that I ever had this surgery but I’m constantly reminded by it when my neck pains me or the other post-op symptoms occur😭 I try to keep my neck straight looking at the front all the time because I’m still scared to move it left or right .. and I feel like it hurts a little when I do that .. but thankfully my tingling has improved a little

      glad to hear your getting some relief. it's good to take your healing slow and gentle. it takes longer that we want it to.

    i am looking at disc replacement surgery. I can't decide which disc to go with: mobi-c, prestiq-lp, m6 orthofix, ESP, or prodisc vivo. In the us only mobi-c and prestiq-lp are approved for 2 level replacement.

    • @Adriennewithane
      @Adriennewithane  4 года назад

      I think the m6 has been approved in US. It really comes down to surgeon experience. My surgeon liked prestige lp so that’s what I have. Only time will tell about longevity. But it seems to be working for me. I wasn’t going to go out of the country for my surgery, and now, it’s even less possible with covid and travel restrictions...

    Hi Adrienne, I was wondering if you ever had osteolysis from your cervical disc replacement discs in either discs?

    • @Adriennewithane
      @Adriennewithane  3 года назад

      No, as far as I know everything has healed correctly and bone is growing. I haven’t had any X-rays past this 9 month time frame. So I’m not sure if it’s “done”. But it’s been almost 16 months.

    Hi your video is very informative. I need to know if it's common after ACDF surgery your back and arms goes numb at random time and every morning when you get up your whole body is numb and can't function normally for few hours ? Reason am asking is my dad had ACDF surgery in 2020 and till date he's feeling numbness around his arms and back,and his fingers are not able to lift n function properly .thanks in advance :)

    • @Adriennewithane
      @Adriennewithane  3 года назад

      I would be inclined to say, that that severe amount of numbness is not normal, however it may depend on how severe his injury was and how long he went prior to surgery. Everyone is different, but it is possible that he may need to have something looked at again. Good luck!

    During your disc replacement, did the center of your neck hurt awhile and the tip of your shoulders?

    • @Adriennewithane
      @Adriennewithane  4 года назад

      Yes, definitely had/ have the center of the spine pain. Don’t remember any pain at the tips of my shoulders.
