@simply So what's your answer. Israel withdraw so Hamas can commit another atrocity. Emotive words may make you feel better but rings hollow without answers.
We need to review the Balfour declaration, admit it was a mistake, dismantle the Zionist regime and set up a single state with both Israelis and Arabs sharing one nation with equal civil rights for all. If Israeli people are not happy with that, they would be free to return home to New York, Texas or wherever else they came from. Wonder why she didn't think of that?
While it’s encouraging to see so many MPs willing to speak up on the atrocities and at least the government’s rhetoric has moved away from the “Israel has a right to..” and “our ally”, “our partner”, atrocity apologist tone, not a single answer was provided to very straightforward questions. It would also be useful to know if the UK performed reconnaissance flights over Lebanon and other other country in advance of Israeli attacks. Supplying weapons to the Israeli regime to attack UN peacekeepers doesn’t sit well with the UK’s role in supplying peacekeepers (1) to UNIFIL. Fill all UNIFIL roles with UK and US personnel and let’s see how the IDF responds.

Better go to Specsavers.
Thank you Andy. I wish more of them had a spine like you
Anneliese Dodds is the British equivalent of the US State Department spokesperson Matthew Miller i.e. compassionless and completely evil.
We call on them to stop… We urge them…We made it very clear… We are very concerned…We take this matter very seriously!! We engage heavily…
BUT WE WILL DO NOTHING!! No action whatsoever
We’re looking closely we’re looking closely we’re looking closely. We’re looking closely, but we’re clearly not looking in the right place.
She's going round the houses, in Laymen's terms that means she's talking B### S###.
I never thought a Labour Party would support such a action
All we get is we condemn what they are doing. but won't do anything about it. Just useless words
Yet another masterclass in avoiding the question
Not my ally. Ever.
biggest talk shop in the world, next to USA. Actions speak louder than words....
"Looks very seriously ... ", "Shocked, I am. Shocked ..." ( while pocketing his winnings ). Any country which trades with a country committing war crimes should itself incur the penalties.
Iran, Lebanon ? No of course not.
@@lizroberts1569they already do have sanctions. But of course, Europe is a beacon of human rights, as is evident over the past 2 centuries
Shameful behaviour from Starmer and the foreign secretary. We will look back on this last year with disgust. Stop sending weapons, . Stop looking the other way, and listen to the people who voted you in!
We already look at this past year in disgust
Labour is finished! We need to stand up to these entitled thugs in suits
The Tories and Reform would be doing the exact same
U.K.Govt- we need action not empty words.
MP 'Will the government do better to stop this genocide'
Labour 'Oo israel very bad yes'
MP 'Well will you actually do more to help the Palestinians trapped'
Labour 'oooo sad yes palestine very sad, israel very bad yes'
Israel very bad? The don't even want to admit that!
@@jmaitlandthomas Maybe the Arab states that surround Gaza should offer to help the refugees and injured. Or don’t Arabs believe in helping others.
@@lestrem11 unfortunately, the governments in the near Arab countries aren’t focused on their people or country’s interest, rather they have their own agenda and are puppets to the US. As people, the Arab people, we all would love to help Palestinians as many have done for the past 75 years and will always do.
@@lestrem11Hmmm. Supporting them in the fight leads to aggression from the US and UK, taking in entire populations as refugees means Israel gets its wish and the west claims justification in supporting racist colonisation, and another nation harbouring a discontent additional population. The only solution is to disband the failed European colony and do the right thing for the Middle East.
@@lestrem11 standard hasbara rebuttals assume people are brainless and ignorant, try something else
What about America ignoring international law as it pertains to trade in weapons to Israel?
The US owns the UN, the World needs to come up with a better solution or boot the US out and move out of the US?
Blah Blah Blah! Useless politicians talking nonsense as usual...
I've never felt so ashamed to be British... how we've not only sat by while this genocide has happened but supplied arms and been EXTREMELY biased towards Israel, both in government but also in the media.
The history books will remember this time, and the UK's part in all this. That being said, I'm glad to see there's MPs who actually have stood up against this in Parliament
The one who asks about going further than condemning it isn't she the one who claimed " Israel has the right to defend itself" when Israel was massacring defenceless women and children. Isn't she ashamed?
Evidently not. They must be paying her a lot.
Emily Thornberry is her name. Even she doesn't feel comfortable with who she is and what she stands for.
I would suggest a few visits to a councillor -help her sort her head out.
The fact that Starmer wasnt even there its outrageous
Empty words and soulless rhetoric actually do something you useless empty shells of people. Help take actions that actually get us somewhere. Its utterly disgusting and pathetic.
@@chatham43bs.
So disgusting. I will NEVER vote for Labour - didn’t vote for Starmer
War criminals in both parties
Ministerial complicity in war crimes?
Ashamed of our governement, puts what labour is meant to be to shame
If you don't like you know how to exit the country
What happened to recognising the Palestinian state?
There is no Palestinian state the Palestine authority can’t deal with Hamas in Gaza there can’t be a two state solution they don’t want it, Yasser Arafat didn’t want it.
What about the Druze children killed by Hezbollah in northern Israel I suppose they don’t matter.
If you don't like it leave
@@lizroberts1569 whataboutery won't work with this one Liz, walking onto foreign soil and claiming someone's land as your own then torturing a population for over 70 years is enough reason for Palestinians to be given the right to their own state - the '2 state solution' is a way for the West to get away with occupying foreign land to get Israelis away from Europe. Ask yourself why they didn't make an Israeli State in one of the 50 states or somewhere inbetween Oxford and Bristol?
@@lizroberts1569 😠 According to 100+ member states of the United Nations 🇺🇳 Palestine exists as a sovereign state.

No it’s absolutely clear why Mr Corbyn was forced out!!!
"clamp down on those who seek to nflame tensions" ...Like Keir Starmer, David Lammy, Kay Burley and Victoria Derbyshire.
"Taking it seriously" is completely fucking meaningless.
Corbyn was right.
All talks but zero action, what a waste!
About time pressure was put on Starmer regarding Gaza, Starmer has got to go down as the worst PM in history, the guy hasn’t got a clue!
He is already the most hated PM in history, so that's a start.
I used to once believe in this joke.
We are taking the situation very seriously and are looking carefully at the situation which we take very seriously and we are determined to look at and review that situation as early as possible so that we might assess the situation which is we take very seriously..
If you're already in a shit mood don't watch this
The Israeli lobby owns The American Congress, over half of the Uk cabinet members have recieved money from the lobby so it shows the path they are travelling.
Didn’t count the number of questions. Couldn’t count the number of straight, or even plausible, answers……there were none!
A year of "concerns", "looking very carefully" and "calling on Israel".
This woman is a pathological liar.
Palestinians never.forget that GB was the responsible of the palestinian drama since.the.Sykes-Picot treaty with France in 1916 !
THEY ARE NOT DOING IT!!!
Exactly what I just screamed at my tv! They are ignoring all your “urging” so what is plan B????
If you are a decision maker and you take no action to help stop this genocide then you are complicit. The time is not for politics, the time is for action.
Nothing to worry about IDF will be investigating.
"Calling on Israel to take all possible measures to insure civilian safety" is not strong enough. This type of language is closer to complicity than objection.
