At one point they started throwing METAL chairs and tables around which could be heard very well since there were concrete tile floors. This rippled through the area. they happened to be in earshot as well and as people came running towards them they were forced to snatch up their son and run as well, hiding in the back of a restaurant themselves, all the way back into the kitchen. They barricaded the doorways, pressed against the wall and even helpen people small enough (and kids including Paxton) up onto coolers and shelves away from harm, instructing the little ones and explain there were bad people around and to keep quiet. The POTENTIAL threat obviously left their marks on them and Brad wrote the song about his mental state during the event, hence his lead in this.
