Does insurance cover any type of hair transplant?

It may not as most of the time it is considered to be elective cosmetic surgery. There may be certain cases however which it does, and that will depend upon your providers plan. You can always give them a call and inquire.

Hi Steve, how long does the procedure take, and do you have to shave the front or back of the scalp in order to do the procedure?

We do not need to shave the back donor zone for FUT. The front "edge" area needs to be shaved in order to place the grafts as close as possible for the best result.
