@@jcstang8952 thanks I believe I can’t change it even if I want to because I done it so long. What I’m saying is I’m not progressing as much as an honest guy should be moving forward not necessarily thinking corruption is gonna help me progress either therefore that’s why I never chose to be corrupt even though I see it all around me.

You CAN have the tracking sent to you, so you're aware of WHEN the package should arrive. That way you can be there for it. It's easy, and we do it with EVERYTHING we purchase online. But if you don't want to do this, you have no excuse for packages being taken from your porch.

Yeah, Pookie was going to stop stealing. This was his last heist. He was going to become a preacher. Hey, they all deserve a 22nd chance.
A whole van full of packages and he takes the one on a porch...
Sure, the one he didn't deliver.
He's responsible for the one's in the van!
Of course. The ones in the truck are tied to him. Silly comment.

I’m a delivery driver if I were to steal or misplace packages I would think I’m actually committing the crime against myself. I’m perfectionist sometimes customers get annoyed how perfect I want to accomplish my job because I get satisfaction from being perfect and it’s hard to get many things perfect.
"I’m perfectionist" YOU WOULD THINK A PERFECTIONIST WOULD REREAD HIS POST BEFORE POSTIN.
@@trashy10 cool 😎
Your mind set is still important. Please don't change it.
@@jcstang8952 thanks I believe I can’t change it even if I want to because I done it so long. But trying to be so perfect gives me anxiety sometimes because I’m over stressing and sometimes it makes me feel it’s obstructing my progress in life (not the stealing) but I’m trying my best but my honesty and perfectionism is standing in my way. What I’m saying is I’m not progressing as much as an honest guy should be moving forward not necessarily thinking corruption is gonna help me progress either therefore that’s why I never chose to be corrupt even though I see it all around me.
@@sareeyemanusqaame8723 I can understand that. I believe you can find a balance. Delayed gratification is not exactly a simple thing to manage. It's hard for everyone to know when to stop, or go.
To be clear, this was an Amazon FLEX driver. Much like food delivery apps like DoorDash and Uber Eats, it wasn't an actual Prime Delivery Driver.
Unbelievable! The delivery driver stealing packages? 😱 I am glad that they threw him in jail!
Passing a test to get hired for a job has nothing to do with a person's real character...
I'm glad he's caught ‼️ I have lost 3 packages now

@Steve Austin UPS and Amazon will not deliver to PO boxes anymore, sadly.
He confirmed to me that he is not responsible for any of 3 stolen packages.
I have a hand written sign on my screen door that says PLEASE PLACE PACKAGES INSIDE SCREEN DOOR so that my deliveries are inside my enclosed front porch. It's been there for several years and I've had only one instance where a package was left on the front steps.
Get a p.o box. Makes someone accountable for your packages
"You never expect the delivery driver to be the thief." 😂 Oh sweet summer child...
Have they SEEN Amazon drivers? LOL
I never got that when people would say that. I would think to myself who are they trying to lie to. Must be lying to themselfs.

Statistically... how many would he have needed to steal before getting a bait package. What are the odds of this being his first?
Interesting question! A better question would be what are the odds of it being his last?

Never use Amazon or any delivery either. I like looking at my purchase, inspecting it and instant delivery. Lol
@Steve Austin we don't have money to burn. We just live with less things we don't really need. We have a good life just not excessive.
Wow. He stayed on the job for a WHOLE month!!! That’s a record for those people 😂
Well, he did have other 18 packages in his trunk.
He's part of the protected class...........He'll be fine.

“He passed the criminal background test” Criminal background test consists of breathing onto a mirror.
Good shit lol!
Idk what bci criteria amazon requires but they just changed the law to go back to any juvy records if you work with kids, elderly or diasbled.
He passed when he was hired. Now that he has felony theft, gonna be hard to find some jobs
Had a place that I lived in was suppose to do background check on people. They didn't do them I guess they did the breath and mirror check. A lady they let moved in was wanted by the FBI top ten.
The background check isn't the issue clearly he didn't have anything in his past that disqualified him. It's his decision to become a criminal that's the issue. Just about everybody has the opportunity to steel at some point but most people know losing your job and possibly your freedom isn't worth it.
In Portland he will be let free. May lose his job, but don’t count on it.

this is the 21st century and you don't expect the package delivery guy to be the thief? that's a first...
Amazon should offer the GPS tracking devices as a normal part of their shipping service. Mail it back or drop it off.
Good! I Hope Every Household Gets One Of These Bait Packages!
Well, it would help a lot if the delivery people would ring the doorbell when they drop a package. We are retired and home a lot. If it weren't for the fact that our porch is visible from the kitchen we would miss deliveries too.
I always ring AND knock.
Not sure if it works, but there is a way to leave SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS for delivery. Maybe ask them to knock and ring doorbell. Best of luck to you 👍
You CAN have the tracking sent to you, so you're aware of WHEN the package should arrive. That way you can be there for it. It's easy, and we do it with EVERYTHING we purchase online. But if you don't want to do this, you have no excuse for packages being taken from your porch.
@@simplywonderful449 That is the most bullshit comment on this thread. Just because someone isn't home when their package arrives they deserve to have it stolen? People like you are part of the problem with this country.
@@simplywonderful449: Doesn’t that fall into the same category as “She walked home in a short skirt so she deserved to be raped” mentality?
Of only they pursued white collar crime with the same level of invigoration.
We live in a great neighborhood and fortunately never have had this problem. The people across the street from me usually have their Amazon delivery drivers open their garage and put the package inside their garage when they're not home. I don't know how i would feel about giving strangers complete access to my home like this. I've personally would never, but I see why people insist on them leaving packages in their garage.
i will never understand how all delivery companies allow items just to be dropped at front door without being signed for,
They need this program nationwide. Get smart people, if its important or even for extra security have your packages sent to a secure business mail location.
Kind of defeats the purpose of having it delivered
@@thedevilsadvocate5210 well at least with picking it up that removed the porch pirate element. Some folks got to stop being dependent on these services, to many delivery services for this, that and the other. I personally dont mind picking things up from the location. It’s a shame you have to worry about such things.

I don't like your sweeping generalization, however, I resent that this story did not mention the race of the alleged criminal.
