I can honestly say I am extremely impressed and my spirit is inspired by your video. I had no idea that when the video said build bifold doors that you would actually be showing your craft and skill. I thought it would be just another installation how to video for us DIYERS. Very informative and educational video
It would have been useful if you opened the doors after installation to see the final result. Also can't find the link to the bifold kit you purchased from lowes?
You are rocking it. I love the bare feet and working on the dining table. The final product knocks it out of the ballpark. What talent!!! You have serious skills
Currently replicating this design thanks to you. Couldn’t find doors with dimensions that fit 2 closets of mine. Got multiple quotes for materials and labor and it was wayyyy out of my budget. Luckily, I already have all the tools to do this. Great video and solutions to those pesky dimension openings!! Thank you so much.
Thanks for this tutorial. I want to do the same type of frame, but with lattice in the middle as a screen. You should add a few instructions, though, about marking the position where you put the middle board and for the handles. A lot o newbies don't know that.
You are an inspiration! Love this idea! My present bifold doors have an unsightly gap at the top between the top of the door and the hardware. What did you use to hide this but allowing the door to open smoothly?
Great job. If you want a stronger hold on the next set use pocket holes with plugs on the inside of the doors. This would hold much better than Brad nails. Side note, how have these doors held up?
I began making my own bifold doors after watching this video , but wanted to know what paint sprayer you used because I'm not super interested in using a roller and brush for painting 5 sets of doors.
thanks for sharing your approach to making this kind of door :) Probably there are a few people who will point out that this is not a true shaker method of assembly, but your results look just fine and serve their purpose. Well done 👍
Hi! What was the exact wood selection for the framing and panel sheets? the strips are found with LxWxH. Trying to narrow it down. Love what you did girl!
Ok, so question. 1x2s and 1x3s, but is the actual measurements under 1"? And if so how has that worked with the bi-fold hardware? I may build my own, first time trying, bc my opening is 46.5 on an older house and I can't find any that fit. Also, what wood is sturdy enough but light enough? Yours looks great.
Great job! Easy, elegant and not extremely priced. I have opted to go this route, because I can't understand why the price of these doors are so extreme. I need 5 sets, so at least these won't break the bank.
I love this. Thank you, thank you for sharing. I wanted to buy some custom bifold doors but they totaled around $600. I would rather buy the tools and learn myself for other future projects as well. Awesome job girl! Keep it up!
That is amazing! I love how the floor tiles complements the gold on the door pulls. Your doors look better than some I've seen online. You're right about the price: I wanted to replace a bifold louvered closet door with something solid (so I won't have to dust that door every other day😂) and I was surprised at how much those doors cost. I decided to keep the louvered door and just dust it once a week.
Are you glueing the frame on your dining room table…dang and you typically don’t glue center panels in to allow for movement due to temperature changes.
u need to show the doors actually working. Also you need to explain your steps better. I think more talking about how you made it specifically and less pointless talking.
These came out nice but they are not bifold, which is what I was looking for. Bi-fold is 2 doors connected via a hinge and on a track, and they fold open. Hence the name.
I don’t think you watched to the very end, those are indeed bifold doors. I’ve never seen anyone put two handles on a single bifold, but I guess you can do whatever you like if you custom build your own.

Sweet. I was hoping someone on RUclips had a simple plan for this. I'm off to build it now.
Wow! They are beautiful!
Beautiful and classy...You did great on your doors!

Those look so amazing! The handles really make them pop! Great job!
Love it, it got mad SKiLLs!!!
Dang girl, you convinced me to make these for my shed doors!
You are an inspiration! Love this idea! My present bifold doors have an unsightly gap at the top between the top of the door and the hardware. What did you use to hide this but allowing the door to open smoothly?
This is perfect. Im redoing my closet, and I will need doors. Im not doing bifold, but I wanted to see how to do glass inserts.
AWESOME! I can't wait to do this! Thank you!
Great job. If you want a stronger hold on the next set use pocket holes with plugs on the inside of the doors. This would hold much better than Brad nails.
Side note, how have these doors held up?
Do you have the link to the hardware kit you used? I want to copy exactly what you used!

These look great are definitely cheaper than buying them. I have have been looking at them online and they are outrageously expensive.

Wow!! In my imagination I dream of using these types of tools! Very impressive ☺️
Good job girl😀
Good video. I've been pricing replacing my bifolds and am sticker-shocked. I think a door build is now in my future.
You make this look so easy! Nice work!
Where did you get the hardware (track and hinges)? I was at Lowes today and they didn't have the track.
Thank you for this vid, it really helped me with my project!
Well done very clever lady ❤
OMG just what I was looking for thank you for this.
Can you help me out figuring out the measurements?
What size is the piece you put in the middle?
Thank you for this video!

Exactly what I’ve been looking for. Thank you!
Turned out great, I am about to attempt some now 🤞
Would you be able to link the bifold track, pivot & hardware you used?
I love this. Thank you, thank you for sharing. I wanted to buy some custom bifold doors but they totaled around $600. I would rather buy the tools and learn myself for other future projects as well. Awesome job girl! Keep it up!
Great job!
Love these
They look great!!
Great job
Nice work Mia 👍
I was your 1000 like!
You’re a beast!
Leave one door cracked for the heat to escape, when using dryer. . Or it can cause issues.
You are amazing ! I wish I had the space to work and the tools ! I would certainly copy your project ! Great job ! I really loved ! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

😂😂😂 it’s crazy how expensive these doors are. Even the basic ones are going to cost you.

OMG 😱 those turned out so good 😊
Thanks! ☺️

I just came across your channel. Where'd you learn your skills? If I may ask. You are fuc*$#% phenomenal.
Yo, you forgot to link that hardware/slider kit.
Brutal
Should have opened the doors so we could see them work
I didn't see no ring on it, but i know she got to be spoken for?! Great job!
