You can paint anything! It's very inspiring and you're so good at explaining your techniques. These peonies are so beautiful. I would love to see you paint sheep in a pasture some day. Thank you.
Your technique is fantastic, particularly, the perspective by doing highlights. Also, the way you build up the general shapes. I love all of your paintings.
I had a busy day and watching you paint your blushing-pink peony was fun and relaxing. I love peony and had them in my garden and will again in our new place. It is remarkable that your painting only took you one hour. I don't know how long a painting would take me but well worth the effort even if you have to stop and catch your breath sometimes! As my Mom would say nothing worthwhile ever comes easy! Your painting is truly beautiful ! Thank you so much for sharing your great talents as an artist. I have learned so much from you & I must say you are a great teacher as well!🌠
Hei igjen David. I am now in our house in Spain, being rather poorly with a nasty cold. BUT, I forget all about it. I'm watching your videos, and am totally oblivious to the fever, due to your fantastic tutoring. You are just the best!!! Thank you for sharing your experience in abundance. You make my day. Hilsen Elin fra Norge👍🌹👏
Oh my gosh! It’s beautiful.... you could almost lift them off the board and put them in a vase 😊. Thankyou David..you are truly the best teacher !! ♥️🌹
Oh goodness it’s so amazing to watch you create a beautiful painting the way you do, making it look so easy but not for me Lol but I am trying you’re a wonderful teacher with it all. Thank you for taking the time to share this with us.
This is so beautiful..I have never paid attention to peonies B4 watching this..now I can see just how beautiful this flower is..as always thank u for giving all of us this video
Just discovered your channel David. Absolutely stunning work and you're a great teacher. Painting is helping so much with my mental health so thank you for sharing your skills.
So much life and light! It practically glows! You never disappoint! Right from the beginning, I'm oooing and aaaahhhing. When you put down that delicious dark blue green for the background and then continued to build your gorgeous peonies, you absolutely capture my attention. I will continue to watch you create breathtaking art. If it's a cow or a rose😁 I always learn so much from your videos. Thank you !😊⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Absolutely gorgeous can’t believe you’re using acrylics doing this painting I would swear on my mothers life it’s oil I’m gonna have to get some open and give it a try
I enjoyed this. 👍I'm very happy to see you used the phthalo green blue. I bought that awhile back. BUT my question is about the Heritage quinacridone gold. I thought it would be pretty for flowers but for the life of me I can't figure out how to use it. I was trying for roses but maybe I don't understand how to make the darker tone (shadow) look correct. I'm not harmonizing it well in the rose and it's wonky tones for me. Cool color though!
@jansenarteducation Thank you to share with us your way to paint , right from the beginning ! Please: on the side of the titanium white there's a resin or something. What is it called and what is it for? Thank you.
Hi David -- So often in your videos, I hear you invite us to request specific things we would like to see you paint. As you know, I love everything you paint -- but -- perhaps at some point, you could add one more idea to your (very long, I'm sure) list. I would love to see a David Jansen interpretation: a landscape in which the center of interest is wildflowers in a field. Best wishes to you and yours, JV
Hope you and your family are doing well. Still remembering you in our prayers.
Thank you for the lesson upload!! I always love your flowers.
Thank you for your amazing videos. You are a fantastic teacher!!!
