Every automobile manufacturer is doing it that way now cause it's cheaper to have everything be placed on the screen than it is having separate modules with buttons and knobs on a dashboard.

It's not inflation at all. It's also not inflation that a Mustang GT went up by 3k. They just don't have any competition and figure they force the price on people. The Lariat almost feels like a better value than the base truck. It's 10k more but you get a powerful engine and lots of comfort stuff. I'm sure the default sale though, will be an XLT hybrid with awd and that will be about 30-32.

People purchased the vehicles at high prices so they kept raising them. He would laugh all the way to the bank when customers would blame inflation for his greediness and let him off the hook. In the past 4 years they’ve purchased several multimillion dollar homes including two lake homes. As long his customers are willing to pay he will charge as much as he can including dealer markups for certain vehicles

I have a 23 XLT Hybrid that had a window sticker of $28,790 including destination (I had price protection and employee pricing but that is another story). Throw in the same options on a 2025 and it looks to be north of $33,000 for a 2025. I'm happy with the large price increases since 22/23 only because it helps mine maintain resale value.
I bought mine in October 2021 and it was $20,000 start . I got the XL with the 4K tow package awd ,bedliner ,and a few other options and out the door was around 26,000 so if you played it more and waited.
I just priced an XL AWD Hybrid with 4K tow package (in that super nice green) for $32K. I think that's fair when you think of its great mileage and good capability (payload, towing). It's a nice little trucklet. Just what I need. For me the Ranger and Tacoma are overkill and at least 8K more.
Really excited about the hybrid powertrain with all wheel drive. Bummed about the bigger infotainment system and all the un-needed bells and whistles to jack up the price.
I ordered a 2023 the first week the order bank was opened. Basic XL with the max tow being the only option. It never got built. I presume mine was low priority because the XL just isn't the big profit mover. They wanted me to convert to a 2024. I just said forget it. Now it's unaffordable, and frankly, my 2019 Taurus is having so many issues with the 'infotainment system', I don't want to even bother with screens anymore. My brick radio never broke.
It's nice that Ford put some color inside the cab, and used a light shade of grey on the cloth seats. By the way, car makers need to stop making cloth seats that look and feel like they're designed to shame you into leather. Some people don't like the feel and smell of dead animal seat covers, or their vinyl versions. That said, this was an excellent report, MotorWeek. Thanks.

They keep adding more tech and features that many people don't care about. Just keep it CHEAP and SIMPLE!

Have you seen the new pricing for these… They are now as much as my 2016 Tacoma that I bought brand new for 32K. It sucks to think that what was a midsize truck less than 10 years ago is now a compact pickup. These guys are pricing out much of what the average buyer in America can afford nowdays, way to overpriced.
