You're a man of the people John! Keep it up!
Love my Maverick.
Not a truck guy but am considering this, I think it actually looks really good
I’m still annoyed that Ford won’t bring The New Lincoln Zephyr & Fusion/Mondeo here🇺🇸!!! My 1st car was a 2000 Contour SVT(Still Daily It) then 2010 Fusion Sport then 2016 Fusion 1.5EB SE now I own a 2018 Fusion 2.0EB Platinum & I’m ready to upgrade to another FORD SEDAN & That 2023 Fusion looks so good!!! I can’t lie this is starting to grow on Me. I feel like “The Ford Maverick” should have been The Ford Focus” & “Fusion” should’ve been The Mondeo here too!
This truck is going to sell like hot cakes. Ford killed it. Bravo. Standard hybrid for 21k?! That's insane. I'd love to grab an awd model myself. Need it here in Canada.
Time will tell
Wish there was an option for fog lights.
Exactly
Good luck getting one. Ordered mine in early August. Hope to see it by fourth of July... Sigh.
I was really prepared to hate on this little truck (my parents had a 73 Maverick Grabber), but I'm starting to warm up to it.
Love the concept of this truck. I believe ford nailed this vehicle outright. The exterior styling is the only issue to me. They should have went with a more aggressive design though. But ford does have thousand of orders for this vehicle already, so it is a home run for them so far.
I have one on order and the one thing on the exterior I’m still trying to figure out is the headlights, because the top is completely useless on XL/XLT. So the headlight is just really big and obvious. Been mulling over ways to try and address it but I don’t think it’s gonna be cheap.
I think they might have gone traditional with the steel bed instead of a composite bed like the imports. I don't know if that will make a difference in sales though.
Want more aggressive? That would add ten thousand to the sticker. No thank you. We have a great little truck for an amazing 20k. Ford, please don’t listen to this guy because we already have crap loads of trucks out there that fill the “aggressive” market. We need just one truck for those of us who need a light duty vehicle. Thank you, FMC.
A "cheap" truck that looks great! Thank you, Ford!
Ford need to make this 4wd hybrid.
Ford, You guys have done great introduction of new truck with a iconic name, like the car, It is a compact,& Ford tough!
Perfect truck for me. A little light hauling, dog hauler and 42 mpg. Yeah, it snows here, but the bride has a Subaru. And besides, we walk to work.
We ordered an carbonized gray..XLT with luxury package.. we just got our email it will be delivered in about 2 weeks or so.. we are so excited
Good puppy power short bed good towing for tons good gas mileage good family truck or more like a vacation truck
I’m absolutely getting a Maverick when the Ford dealer near me gets some in stock. I’m in NYC
I ordered my XLT Hybrid mid August in Velocity Blue.. no build date set yet..
I had a Ranger once, every time I went to do something or tried to haul something there wasn’t enough space. Went back to an F150 and never thought about midsize for a pickup again.
Yeah, honestly, I don't see this winning over many F-150 buyers. At best, this could be a more direct alternative to the Ridgeline.
Ford makes a lot of profit on thier F-150s and they don't want you buying the Maverick. I expect the majority of the Maverick buyers don't currently own a pickup.

You could be right, but I couldn't imagine Ford, or any manufacturer, making something that they DIDN'T want people to buy.
@@Chris_Troxler What I was saying is that ford doesn't want their F-150 customers to start buying the Maverick instead of the F-150. Ford makes a lot of money with the F-150 and they don't want to loose that. The purpose of the Maverick is to take market share away from their competitors.
I am a drywall taper. And I want one.
This is long overdue in the market. Yes.
$20k vehicle could be a hit with parents that want to buy a vehicle for their kid going to college. Great on gas, plenty of space and a bed to haul all there belongings from school and home.
Jhon Davis is Legendary
Nice looking upscale ranger!
This is truly the best treat ever made
Like it's 1998👍
Already dented the right rear door panel? Was it hard to dent?
For everyone that is asking for a AWD Hybrid, more power will be needed than the current hybrid to go off-roading and haul the extra AWD component weight.
I love my stick shift 4 cylinder 4x4 tracker.. 😘😘 I also have a solid rear axle.. thanks Suzuki/GM ❤️
Looks good with decent price. They will sell a lot of these
Thank you for video brother
The old, grumpy Sport Trac sitting at the end of the bar, upon seeing the handsome new Maverick enter, "Yeah, yeah. This'll be you one day! In ten years, THIS'LL BE YOU!!!!"
Friends and co-workers of Sport Trac intervein. "Aaaaalrght, Chuck, you've had enough for the night."
I don't know the sport track adrenaline V8 is pretty awesome
Haha, funny.
The Sport Tracs bed is actually a half a foot smaller then the Mavericks.
Nice Top Gun reference!
I’d like this Maverick a lot more if the side wasn’t so dang boxy. The front end is good looking though.
This pickup can address the needs of 50% of NA truck market.
The FMC Maverick has a Trailer Brake Controler problem on trucks with the 4K Tow Package that CAN NOT find a FIX before you leave the dealership with your truck check the trailer gain it does not come up on the insterment cluster
Drop the price 20k and I'll get one. I ain't paying f150 prices for a small truck.
The base XL HYBRID is the one I want. I’m taking my Dodge Ram down to ford tomorrow!!!!!
