      I hear you, but one year older 40/41 and coming off of an achilles. I'm delighted to see him in good spirits. But this was devastating.
      Plus, what does it do to Zach IF he has some success? (Granted that is not likely, but it would be in our best interest.)
      I'm afraid the Aaron Rodgers dream could be over before it started.

    • @scourge8097
      @scourge8097 Год назад +11

      @@seanfrank32 Nah...you don't know it yet, but you'll find out. Rodgers is too petty to EVER allow the people who doubt him to be right. For Skip Bayless to be right.
      He'll be back. Also, end of the day...he's not had success because he's super athletic. He's savvy in the pocket.
      Now the Jets just need to go back and get 2 more OTs. Trade up in Rd1 and if you need to, trade a future 1st for another pick in the 2nd Rd to get a guy like Alt and then Barton from Duke(dude can play all over the OL).
      For everything the Jets had that the Packers didn't have in a lot of the years Rodgers was there, the one thing they lacked was a versatile OL. Their cap is in good shape(They can create a TON of money just by restructuring some deals).
      But bottom line, if the Jets do their part, Rodgers will be your week 1 starting QB next year. I'd bet my house on that. He will NOT retire.

    • @scourge8097
      @scourge8097 Год назад +1

      Dude...I was hoping the Jets would go like...7-10 this year thinking the OL would hurt the Jets a bit this year and it'd take Rodgers some time to develop the type of trust he truly needs...but man, I can't imagine a worse scenario as a sports fan.
      It sucks we're not getting a 1st, but losing all that hope 4 snaps into the year is just cruel. But he'll be back. 2, maybe 3 years he'll play for the Jets(assuming he stays healthy and again, the Jets need to do their part by attacking the OL aggressively).

      Positive?? The Packers locker room is a much happier place these days. Have you seen their enthusiasm? Without the pretentious plague rat around to berate his receivers, it's a much healthier environment. If a rookie receiver dropped a pass, they were dead to Rodgers for the rest of the game. Good luck next year with Qaaron. It would be epic if the Jets played the Packers in the SB. It's been refreshing watching the Pack without the tap dancing diva who thinks he's the coach.

      Once he starts playing again you'll see why the Packers moved on from the arrogant locker room cancer. His ego had metasticized into an imperious condescending plague rat. A large healthy ego is fine, but this was not acceptable. Love took his entire receiving corps to California for the summer and it shows. Rodgers would never do that. He wouldn't even be around for training camp or preseason stuff. As a lifelong Packer fan (the Glory Years: Lombardi, Ice Bowl, Starr, Hornung, Nitschke, etc.) I could no longer relate. This is a team sport and a QB is NOT the coach. It was getting tedious. I wish him the best and I'll cheer when they put his name in the Lambeau Ring of Honor. The Packers were smart to draft Love and move on from Rodgers. Now the Jets are left holding the bag and that's $AD.

I don't miss taking every play down to the very last second before the snap. I don't miss his tap dancing hesitancy. I don't miss his reluctance to take a chance and trust his receivers. I don't miss his pouting. I don't miss his checking out of every play because he thought he knew more than the coach. I don't miss his arrogance and prevaricating. I wanted to see a receiver drop a pass or run a wrong route and become dead to Rodgers for the rest of the game. I couldn't wait for the inevitable tension between coach & QB as Rodgers kept checking out of the called plays. Rodgers will always be beloved out here in Green Bay. I hope he does make a recovery, I want him back in the league because the NFL will always be less entertaining without him. If not a player then a coach.

    Lol the hate at the end of this comment thread. Keep it up. Just helping him rehab. Just helping his return. How can anyone hate on this guy after watching this? Oh well I feel like I've been asking that for a long time. Haters gonna hate. They hate their own lives

      I don't hate my life and I love the Packers. It was time to move on from the tedium that Rodgers brought to the game. His ego had grown larger than Lambeau. Watching this year's Packers is a breath of fresh air, win or lose.
